I was aboard this boat earlier this month for nine days and it is wonderful. This video does not do it justice whatsoever. I regularly cruise Holland America and Celebrity but had the opportunity to solo this one and had a great time. I’m in my mid-60’s so I’m fairly close to this YT’ers age. You will have a great time on a very nice boat with delicious well-prepared food. And btw, if you don’t like the food, send it back, order another or something different. They want to please you. Also, no masks anymore.

We are going on the Sky in about 3 weeks......we have done it before and especially twice to Cuba. We love the smaller ships! This one we loved the Mojito Bar!!!

I've sailed on the Sky a few times (once when she was the Pride of Aloha). Despite her age, she wears it well. She has a very beautiful atrium, good restaurants, and decent public areas. I do miss the appearance of the Outrigger Lounge, pre-refurbishment. The Spinnaker is not as appealing, but it's still in a fantastic location. The cabins are all fairly competitive with other ships in her size class. I'd sail on her again tomorrow based on all my good memories.

That was foolish!!! The sky is only good for 3-5 day cruises tops. You are going to be very disappointed and cramped.

Sky tomorrow for 3 day cruise. Haven't been on ncl for 25 years. Platinum on carnival and mid tier on celebrity. To me any ship is fantastic. Looking forward to tomorrow. Great video

Hope you had a great cruise and we completely agree. We have been on every major cruise line in the US this year. we have never had a bad time. We tend to look at things with a critical eye when giving our opinion. We do not want cliebts and viewers disapointed. What did you think of it?

Very good review. We took a 18 day in the middle east -- leaving from Dubai. The ports were great, the crew were very good, but our cabin steward was amazing. They really having to work long shifts and have more cabins. Always a smile and took time to chat. There were tow very poor spots one was excursion desk, let like to strech to truth a little bit, you need to carefull and documemt everything they tell you. There were always people there with issues. The other area you mentioned was the food. IT was way below NCL normal quality. They had a lot of Indian food in the buffet at all meals. I think I only saw about3 - 4 couple from India. Other thought the food selection was strange -- a lot of Indian style when there we not many Indiqn passengers. Giving NCL another chance -- going thru the Panama Canel from west to east back to Miami -- hope they have fixed things. Like your review style -- keep it up,

Your lucky you got on that Cuba cruise! I was booked on it July 2019 and it was canceled due to political reasons . NCL did give me a nice credit for a future cruise ! I am sailing the Sky again memorial day weekend- 5 night

Heading to Panama on the Sky in Feb. kind of concerned about such a long cruise on such a small ship but we have a Family group going and we will focus on Friends and fun. None of us are interested in a waterslide or bumper cars but a full spa would be nice as would another restaurant. This cruise was booked on the Jewel originally but we were bumped off the boat in January 2022 now we will try again in 2023. Fingers crossed!

Great video,, you have pleasant voice,, wife and i going to Panama on the Sky in Feb 2023,, sailed on most of the 7 sister ships and like them as we are in our 70's and just go to relax and get away from the snow. (Wisconsin ) I thought maybe food not as great as it was only 3 day cruise ? I guess you would say should always be the same,, but always comes down to $$$ I personally llke the premium restaurants,, specially Cagneys.

I sailed Norwegian's smaller ships (Sun, Sky and Pearl) about a dozen times in total before the shutdown. I like to be outdoors as much as possible on a cruise and these ships allow that. I definitely agree the food is just okay so no worries about cruise weight gain. The French restaurant, Le Bistro, is very good and worth a try even if you aren't a big fan of French cuisine. It's been almost 3 years since I was on a cruise ship, I should get back into it.

we have found food has just been lacking in general since restart 6 cruises this year across several lines. perhaps some of the issue is new staff and supply issues even ncl encore which was a newer ship the food was just ok we are foodies so always looking for wow factor which we haven't found lately except for on celebrity edge at the eden restaurants

I cannot disagree, but we have found it to be greatly improving. I have several videos to edit but we were just on th RCCL Mariner of the Seas and the food was excellent. I think things are really getting back to normal, including pricing unfortunately. Thanks for watching!

Having cruised this boat two weeks ago for nine days, you did not do it or the crew justice by a long shot. You were on the boat for maybe 3-4 days and seemingly all you talked about was what annoyed you. You barely showed the shops, did not show the two level theater at all, I don’t think you showed the Atrium or the views from above, the Library, the Internet Cafe. You spent far too much time on the least exciting deck which is 12. Groused about not being able to take your drink to the pool. Gosh what a gyp, as you saw, most people like to get into the pool. I saw people getting corrected, never saw anyone get “yelled at.” Overall you painted a very poor and inaccurate picture of this boat, its services, and its crew. I’m in my mid-60’s as it appears you are, and I cruise mostly Holland America and Celebrity ships. This is a completely thumbs down video. Btw, if the food brought to you isn’t to your liking, send it back. They will make another. They want to please. How lame to accept what they bring, be dissatisfied, and then whine about it in your “review” although you did not give them an opportunity to make the meal better. Maybe your more recent videos are better, less biased, more accurate, I don’t know. I’ll watch a newer video and maybe you’re not the grumpy old guy you portray in this video.
