Norwegian Sky Full Ship Tour | 2023

I'm taking my daughter on the same cruise in two weeks. But we will be onboard the cruise _ship_ Norwegian Sky, so I shared this with her. I will look out for more of your cruise.

Is this where I can ask a question? We are going on the Sky in 2 weeks. We went on the Norwegian Sprit last year, and one of the small cafes did pots of tea [as I'm English I am addicted to tea!] Is there one of these on the Sky? Or is it only Starbucks that you have to pay for, and they don't do very good tea? Thanks for your help. We rae very excited to see the Caribbean. Recommend the Spirit from Sydney to Tahiti too.

We aren’t big tea drinkers ourselves and don’t recall there being any specific places to get tea from on the sky. However, I’m sure you can ask for tea in the dining areas, although it may just be a basic cup of tea. Sorry we don’t have a more helpful response to your question. We hope that you have an amazing time in the Caribbean though!

What excursions do you recommend? My wife and i are going in December, i think we have some planned for St Kitts &Nevis, and punta Cana.

Check out our stateroom confessionals video for more details for which excursions we loved and didn’t like as much, but overall we definitely recommend doing some snorkeling, getting on a catamaran if possible, and anything with animals! We haven’t been to any of the locations you mentioned yet though so I’m not sure what specific excursions to recommend. I hope that is helpful!

I think this ship is coming to Baltimore, Maryland if so, I will definitely book a cruise for my husband and I. We enjoy the huge mega ships but it’s nice to cruise on a smaller ship with less people and shorter lines. Thank you for the ship tour,.

There was a little bit of shopping, but not a ton if I remember correctly. I know they had a jewelry shop, an art gallery, and a small gift shop/duty free store.

They had a comedian that we unfortunately never saw, but the shows that we did see were rock you tonight, and a production called showdown.

Hi Thank you for sharing your experience on the sky cruise ship. My questions: 1) Did you only part take in a few excursions? Or every Port you did excursion ? 2) If you only choose three excursions. What did you do at the other ports? 3) Already booked for upcoming cruise with my teenagers. Did you see teenagers? 4) Are there signs letting you know your food selections are not complimentary? Hey there! I’d suggest watching our stateroom confessionals video for more details about our experience on the sky! We talked in much more detail about the cruise overall in that video, giving some tips and tricks as well as stating our favorite/least favorite excursions, etc. We did do multiple excursions though, only spending one day in Puerto Rico where we didn’t do an excursion. We chose to just walk around that city ourselves and don’t regret that decision at all as it’s very accessible by foot and we really enjoyed our time there. As for teenagers being on that cruise, I can’t say that we saw many…however we were also cruising during the school year so there weren’t many kids in general on the ship. Lastly, for the dining I can’t really say that there were signs stating they weren’t complimentary, but you could tell as they asked us if we wanted to make reservations in any of the specialty dining restaurants, which has a cost associated just like booking an excursion. thank you for sharing your trip. Just a note though, it's a ship not a boat. Any Navy sailor will always tell you, a boat will fit on a ship, a ship will not fit on a boat. 😉

Yes, we have had a lot of people correct us on this. It was our first time ever being on a ship! Our bad. We will make sure to say ship moving forward. 😁

I saw another review stating the drinks are complimentary I think only at the Mojito Bar. Is that true?

So if you pay for the drink package then yes, for the most part they are free. We did find that while we were at sea the drinks were free, however we also noticed that we it we got a drink while at port a port fee or tax would appear on our bill. We were told that was due to the port taxes we had to pay while in the port. However, the only drinks that we truly paid for while on board were the specialty mojitos or mojito flights at the mojito bar and Starbucks drinks.

This boat is outdated, unorganized staff, small dining areas. Worst boat I’ve ever been on.

I'm sorry that you had a bad experience. We really enjoyed our time on the Sky and although it is definitely a small ship, we didn't find the dining areas to be too small or the staff to be unorganized at all.
