Great new format with all the 4 Tenses (Infinit, Present, Past, Perfect) all shown in 1 vertical column. It makes it easier to grasp the context of each new verb.

Actually the funniest thing about norwegian is when they describe some thing extremely small f.ex. kjempe litten (might be misspelled) directly translated as gigantic small.

Actually, "kjempe" means "a lot" or "very". It's similar to Japanese "chou", where you can say "chou baka", big/a lot/huge idiot. Basically, it means "a lot" of something. Even if it's used in a negative context, like kjempeliten

@EarthBeautifull That's a lie. English has so many more rules and bits of languages that aren't in Norwegian. English speakers just have to forget about the French/Latin grammar that they know. English is one of the hardest languages to learn.

Thanks for all the lessons, they are really really great, you are easy to fallow :) Can you please pronounce in some of your videos "Excuse me, i don't speak norwegian. do you speak English?" Google translator translates that to "Unnskyld meg, jeg snakker ikke norsk. Snakker du engelsk?" and I understand each word, but pronunciation is a bit tricky, can you just read that on native Norwegian please? :) Thanks in advance

I'm trying to learn norwegian and i don't understand something about the pronounciation, like in the example of "lyst på" when you say that slow, you say: "Jeg har lyst på mat", but when you say it normal, you just say: "Jeg lyst på mat". why you don't pronounce the "Har". or sometimes in some norwegian sentences when the "Jeg" is between other words, is pronounced like a simple "I" like in english. can you explain to me this, Vær så snil!

@aschwartzburg11 жыл бұрын
"Lyst på" it does make sense actually. You just need to depart from the common assumption that the syntax of colloquialism - in this case english colloquialism - is directly inter-changable with the concept of correct semantics. My brief review of the suggestions for the english translation of "lyst" gives several meanings the intersection of all of them is an ethos of approval or subjective positivity in light of the thought of the object it precedes. Jeg lyst på x. {I} {want, like, fancy, bright, light} {on, in, at, the, of} {x} Assume whatever's inside the braces ("{ }") to be a word in the sentence. Assume that all of the words (by that definition) are in the proper order. Then choose the pairing of the two middle sets in light of what x happens to be. Thanks for making these videos btw. I've been wanting to learn norwegian. Thought about getting rosetta stone. You seem chill. hit me up on fb facebook.com/alex.schwartzburg.9
