What a fascinating topic for this video, Tom. I knew of these three staircases but only walked up the Flamingo....Oooops, I mean Peacock stairs LOL. I noticed the cracked and missing pieces of concrete have been repaired. I could never have walked all the way up the second one, way too many stairs. You are in better shape than me. I also had not walked up the path by the Falls Mills Condos. Yes, it is part of the Uncas Leap project and will be cleaned up. Thanks for posting.

@@davebishop5159 David…..thank you very much for commenting. Apparently there is another even bigger staircase on Julianne street in Norwich leading up a large hill. I’m going to try to find that.

WOW Tom!, in 1969 and early 70s, I took trumpet lesson on the music store that was on Main St. My parents took me there and we parked on Washington St. and Water St. The railings and the steps are just like I remembered them☺. I gotta check out that Church to School St. staircase....that is one lengthy climb and I am sure my father used it as a kid growing up in Norwich in the 20s and 30s. The staircase at the Uncas Falls could be another one my father went up and down as a kid. I would love to know what dates these staircases were constructed. My father was born near the Falls on 18 Thurman St. before he passes away in 1995 from cancer, he wanted me to know that♥. God Bless You Tom, we appreciate keeping us all young at heart!☺Sincerely, Bill M. from Uncasville, CT☺

@@discgolfbilly No question the toughest one was Church street to School street. Luckily the weather was good. Not humid or too hot.

@@TomKaszuba I'll be off the the Mohegan Park Disc Golf Course in this month and through October. Here is an idea for you Tom. If you could get a friend or lease a small single engine powered boat wearing a life vest of course, do a video tour of the Thames River starting at the harbor and continuing up to the Mills of Thamesville and back along the Thermos and the Laurel Hill area. You can launch at the Marina dock. Now that would get you some viewers for sure!.....but I still say the Mohegan Park Disc Golf Course walking tour will be your number 1 and man do I thank you for that one as does the entire disc golf community!☺

Really interesting staircases in the middle of the town! The 3rd one looks like it hasn't been discovered by kids. I would of loved that when I was a kid!
