I went under this surgery from Shalimar hostpital Lahore. Doctor broke bone and placed straight bone at a wrong angle. Also he forgot to give me pain killer and once a woke up immediately after operation, I felt extreme pain and no one was listening to me that I need pain killer. Once I told doctor after wards,he told me it was duty of his other staff to give me injection of pain killing. Also he refused to put my nose bone at straight angle.

aarifboy oh so sad to hear about it. Some doctrs r really money holder n dont pay much attention towards pts. Though it was the duty of other staff to give u painkiller but ur dr was also responsible to ask about it before surgery.

I have a question for a Dr. During rhinoplasty, the nasal bones may be broken; an osteotomy. I learned that bones, when broken, will bleed and then form a soft callus. Eventually the soft callus turns into a hard callus. Then, over time, the bone goes through a remodeling stage where it eventually resembles its previous, unbroken state. Does this apply to nasal bones as well? And if so, during remodeling, wouldn't the bones return to their previous state, thereby essentially un-doing the osteotomy?

Jay N step 1is cutting excess bone(ostectomy) 2ndly bone is trimmed to fill de gap formed by removing excess bone ... so yes callus forms n help in closin dat gap......in some cases dere is mpre trauma to bone hencr more swellin n more healing leading to formaton of excess bone but it is definitely nt undoin de whole procedur

sadia liaqat you're welcome. Just be careful about choosing not only the right surgeon but also specialized in rhinoplasty and be ready to do a lot of research and moving around in your search. Always look for the before and after pictures of the surgeon's previous surgeries before trusting them. Good luck

@@armisharmish9630 The mess created by this surgeon is still there even after being operated by another surgeon from Islamabad, the fucked up rhinoplasty by this surgery center made it very very hard for any surgeon at least here in Pakistan to even touch my cousin's nose without the possibility of making it even worse. She got anotherr rhinoplasty done from Islamabad and then another revision done from the same surgeon and now after one yeat she is discovering no real change from the mess created by this Dubai surgery center. Money ruined time ruined life ruined. This surgeon completely completely destroyed her nose especially the tip destruction and nose deviation caused by this extremely incompetent surgery center kinda proves that they DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT RHINOPLASTY. THEY DON'T
