I'd suggest the Blood Omen games first, to familiarize newbs with Kain, before Defiance.

It's only a matter of time for that game's release. Still a little low for the cancellation of what was supposed to be a sequel to Defiance.....forgot the name that was supposed to finish the series.

Thank you for keeping Nosgoth updated with the latest news! 🫡 The last few weeks have indeed been quite eventful! My dad and I already preordered our collector copies at LRG (though we're still waiting for Tomb Raider's to arrive, as they've been delayed a second time). Now waiting until November is going to be harsh, lol. Hopefully this one's not delayed! 😅 I'd like to thank the devs for their hard work on the patch btw. So many fixes, such attention to feedback... It's pretty cool! The timing is great too as I'd like to replay the Soul Reaver remasters once more before Tomb Raider IV-VI drops, because I'll definitely play this one A LOT as soon as it's released! 🔥 *P.S.* Very nice of you to mention Benoît Allemane. French being my native language, it's in French I discovered the LoK games initially, in my childhood. Allemane was involved in so many game and movie dubs, becoming an icon in this industry, needless to say he will be greatly missed...

I definitely double-dipped and got the collector's edition of SRR: I was initially gonna go with the standard, but I just couldn't help myself in the end. I also jumped on to the encyclopedia as soon as I saw the campaign went live. So much to look forward to with LoK! With Blood Omen and Blood Omen 2 recently getting ports to the PSN, I'm not betting on them getting remasters/remakes, but I am waiting with baited breath for news of a Defiance remaster!

I love this guy. Congrats on the patch release! Balancing lighting between the new models and the original engine must’ve been tricky. The enhancements feel like Aspyr’s recent Tomb Raider remasters-charming and true. Darker environments add atmosphere, but better lighting helps you see what the %#$ you're doing. Well done on the fixes-looking forward to more from the den.

Another amazing video. I just hope that the mentioned concept art doesn't get lost in the vastness of cancelled games and we get yo get that game. Its art style was stunning, regardless straying a bit from the established LoK aesthetic.

Ok, i knew of the LoK Limited Run and Backerkit projects, but i didn't know that the English voice actor of Kain himself-Simon Templeman came to voice the trailer for the Backerkit project?! That is so cool and wholesome, *thanks so much, Simon!* 😆 Im so happy to see LoK has become big once more with the awesome community booming, documentaries and interviews showcasing the games to both og and new audiences, merchandise projects popping up here and there to support the series and the Remaster doing so well in all platforms (like you said Baz with the Steam Top sellers as well as the Remaster did higher expectations, which is great)😁 This truly is the *New Age of Nosgoth* (Great saying, btw Raina and Baz). Another great video, Raina and Bazielim, pls keep up with the amazing work-thanks you to you all for paying close attention and dedication to the game with fixing bugs and updates to the Remaster, and so sorry for the long comment again, thanks you, you guys are amazing👍 (P.S Have big respect for you guys giving respect to the French voice actor of Kain and Elder God-Benoît Allemane, thanks you) (Edit-many typos, sorry)

"Upload that fix!" every tried to fix christmas lights? You fix one, another breaks, another breaks, oh they've all gone off. That Patamon is adorable. Do give hugs. Hopefully some day we'll have LoK plushies for them to hang out with... or err... hide on top of cupboards from. Cupboard does not look scaleable, should be safe.

I'd like to see the sound effect for SR1 restored when you cross through the portals just as it closes Aswell as In SR2 at the beginning cutscene there isnt revereb/echo sound affect as was present on the Playstation 2 Side note I managed to get the LRG collectors Edition for Xbox and will be looking forward to it.

you think you can let the team know in sr2, the blur effect when Raziel enters Williams chapel for the first time is gone. :/ the room shakes but no blur effect.

Hey Raina, can we get a game mode for Soul Reaver 1 where all the cut content is restored and playable, as the game was intended to be released back then? Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness is getting cut content restored, and i think Soul Reaver deserve the same treatment. It could even be a DLC, i gladly pay for a game mode (Director's Cut style) with all content restored. Thanks.

The series has unearthed itself from slumber like a melchiachim bastard lying in ambush. I jest. I cannot express how great it is to see my favorite childhood franchise being brought back to life! I'm absolutely getting both the encyclopedia and the TTRPG! Although I'm not exactly happy with their choice of system: Mork Borg is a very... trashy system, so to speak. Not that it's bad, not at all! It's just that characters there tend to die very often due to bad dice rolls. Yeah, of those "meatgrinders" if you know what I'm talking about. And I think that it stands in stark contrast to what we have in the video game series. Sure, we'll playing as the Sarafan here, but even those knaves were quite formidable. Still, it's an awesome choice due to how easy to access the system is. It's great for novices, and MB is widely popular, meaning that even seasoned GMs have something to dig in. It might be not my first choice, but it's definitely an interesting one.

Will they fix the music in Janos retreat? Both in danger and in combat, it lacks certain instruments compared to the original, it feels empty, the same happens with the reaper of the soul reaver 1 when aiming

I'm so tired of limited physical releases. I've never played the OG but missed the physical on PS5 while job hunting (still). Digital releases are a cancer on game preservation.
