Yeah, Thanks, It was like a splinter in my mind, Eddie Redmayne, I mostly know him from the movie, The Theory of Everything. ^_^

@@MynameisCharlie Yeah. I just saw him in the first Fantastic Beasts film and this film.

The muted part (presumably because of the background music) is actually when they all give their final thoughts on the movie. Kind of the most important part, don't you think?🙂 Luckily, I still have the pre-KZbin version, so here's what they had to say… *Paw:* "Well, I think it's great. It did a wonderful job to update the musical as well as adapt it in a way that moviegoers would enjoy. It has its problems here and there, but I think it's fantastic just to see it in movie form." *Kyle:* "Well, I thought it was terrible. It's clumsy, it's awkward, it's full of moment upon moment that doesn't work, and it commits the biggest crime any adaptation could: it made me question whether or not the material it's adapting was that damn great to begin with." Then they both look at the Nostalgia Critic. "You?" *NC:* "Well, as someone who enjoyed the musical but acknowledges that it had problems, I think the film is kind of similar. Some moments hit it right out of the park, and others don't even make it up to bat. So, on the whole, I'm glad I saw it, but I don't think it's great." *Kyle:* "Wait, so it's like, dislike and indifferent." *NC:* "Well, hell, that's pretty much what the rest of the critics of the world thought. There was no real majority consensus. It's one of those movies that is so hard to get a fix on that pretty much everybody had a different reaction to it."

I know this is from a while ago but in Hugh’s defence he can sing well. It’s just that, like Russel and many of the main people in the film besides Anne, they really don’t have the voices for THIS musical. If you want a good version of Les Miserables with good singing and stuff that helps you understand the story I recommend the 10th anniversary production. It’s on KZbin and on DVD. A more staged production, the 25th anniversary version, is also on dvd and probably elsewhere too. I’m a huge Les Miserable nerd. Read the book when I was ten because I fell in love with the musical when I was like eight or nine. The reason the musical jumps over so much is… HAVE YOU SEEN THE SIZE OF THE BOOK?!
The Last Airbender one of his greatest reviews is almost here. I can't wait!

Yeah. For me, from the ones I have seen, I liked fiddler on the roof and Mary Poppins the best for different reasons. Both are well placed, easily builds up the drama and the tension, for what little there is of that in Mary Poppins, and both have epic performances. Les miz, while I did enjoy it, I sobbed like a bitch at Ann Hathaway's performance on I dreamed a dream and when Jean died, but they seemed to skip over so much. Like, seriously, 1 second he's ripping up his parole papers and the next he's a mayor running a factory? How? Give context movie. Show us the projection. Don't just say "he's a mayor now and runs a factory." It's like if the titanic people just boarded and then there's the iceberg in the next scene. (Still kinda miffed that the book that was written years earlier that had almost the exact same hype, build and mishaps happen as the titanic just kinda gets sneezed in there as well then turns into a big lipped alligator moment and never mentioned again when the similarities are so eerily similar that the writer could almost be a psychic future predictor, but I digress.

oh boy. charlie, the next review after this review is one review to a movie i absolutely 100% universally despised/hated for ALL FRICKIN' TIME: M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN'S THE LAST AIRBENDER MOVIE. out of ALL the movies i listed or said/wrote before in previous reaction vids, i considered THE LAST AIRBENDER movie the number one universally HATED movie ever on my list, not only as a HUGE fan of the show 'Avatar: The Last Airbender', but as a reactionary critic of it. yeah, i absolutely frickin' hate it THAT much.

I've heard of it before, but unfortunately, I have never read the books, or watched the movies, I never did any school play on it, or anything like this, it's a shame, I'm very familier with don quixote, man of la mancha, movies, and books, stage plays, that would have been great as it's one of my favorites, oh well, 😌
