When I first saw Chris and heard his name, I wondered if he was Robert's son. Chris has blue eyes and thick eyebrows like his dad - but is far more attractive. Usually it's the case that the celebrity sons or daughters are less attractive, although in Robert's case, he was never the handsome leading man but more of a supporting actor.

@@oliviastar3812 No, Chris' parents were not all that famous or influential. I mean Robert was best known for a supporting role in a 70s TV show, and whilst it was a hit show, once it was over, Robert was probably forgotten by many people. Chris' good looks as well as his charisma and acting skills helped him become the big star and leading man in films that his less attractive father was not. Luck also plays a big part. There are plenty of sons and daughters of stars more famous than Robert Pine who have not had very high profile careers in acting. Cheryl Ladd has a daughter, and very attractive she is too. But she's not all that famous. Robert Mitchum's sons went into acting but can you name one of them? I think one became quite successful working in Europe, doing Italian action films etc, but not a star in the U.S. His daughter Carrie Mitchum, who was a very pretty actress, mainly did soaps and then she retired and went on to become a chef. Gregory Peck had a daughter who was an actress. I can't remember her name. She didn't become famous.

Like any job kids often follow in their parents footsteps. My Nephew works for his Father straight out of high school, just bought his first house at 28 with his longtime girlfriend. He was making more than I ever did by the time he was 19, and is poised to take over the business when his father retires. He still had to work hard and in every part of the business, just as these people’s kid’s do. They might get an audition because of their name, but after that it’s up to them. Also kids of creative people are often creative themselves. My soulmate was a 2nd generation artist, and her adult daughter is a brilliant artist in her own right.

Chris Pines Father was very famous in the early 80's because of CHIP'S and a few minor roles in some movies. Jerry Stiller was a famous comedian and Vaudeville Actor before getting into TV and he was the #1 Fan for RUSH and made a Video intro for 1 of their Tours Plus he was on the Seinfeld and King of Queens shows so his carrier spanned many generations from 40's till his passing in 2020 so I firmly state that Ben Stiller can only be Humble in his Fathers Shadow.

He had a major supporting role and his name and face would be remembered by regular viewers of the show (I remembered him and guessed that he was Chris' father). But that was in the 70s and 80s, and Robert was never a leading actor or given many other major roles. Chris has had a huge career. With his looks and charisma, he was able to make a name as a leading actor, in blockbuster big budget franchise films like "Star Trek", and in smaller films and romantic comedies with A list actresses. He's done some TV projects but he's mostly known as a film star. His earnings and net worth are way, way, way greater.

Those kids aren’t getting their picture taken all the time and the site owner a) wouldn’t know about them and b) not find their pictures. Mel Gibson has 8 or 9 kids and this video only showed 2 of them. What I thought was impressive that all Sheen’s kids have the same mother compared to some of the others

She may be best known for Psycho but she actually was in over 50 movies, many before and after Psycho. She was even in the Fog and one of the Halloween movies with Jamie Lee. She also wrote a couple of successful books and was on Broadway so she was actually pretty successful also. She was also in a couple of movies with Jamie Lee's father, Tony Curtis who was also pretty famous.

@@josephwinder6878 Shaun moved on to T.V. - he was the lead I think, in the short-lived T.V. series version of the film "🏃Breaking Away". And then he got into writing, creatinf and producing. It surprised me when I saw his name in the credits for the (also short-lived, sadly) T.V. series "American Gothic" in the 90s. I was a big fan of that but it got axed at the end of the 1st season leaving us on a cliffhanger! Why!!! Shaun was the series creator/writer/producer. Don't know what else he has done since then but I think he was doing pretty well considering his pop background.

Please tell Chris to have kids or we may lose those gorgeous genes! it is getting late and I am getting concerned. 😅 He has some awesome eyes! I think he said he got his mom's eyes. I likes to dress like a bum when he walks to Starbucks. He cleans up nicely though.

I met John Ritter in a Hotel in London. We talked like old friends sitting in the lobby. He was such a charming and kind guy. He talked about one of his sons debut in a London theater. He was so happy!
