Those types of things are kind of fundamentally opposite Edit: A clarification: a conservative person is of a belief that innovation and change is unnecessary, “if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it” type of mindset, with a flavor of “everything was better in the past”. I've met both republicans and democrats who were "supportive" of those groups in certain ways but not others, like you said with queer support and same sex couples adopting.
