@thesmithsonian63782 жыл бұрын
I’m a fresh cdl a holder with double/triple and tanker. I took my hazmat test on Feb 5. Passed it. Needed fingerprints. Got them Feb 7. The new law dropped on Feb 7 for needing classes for hazmat. I’m being told that I’ll have to have classes to get my hazmat even though I took and passed the test before the deadline. Not having hazmat has already prevented me from getting hired at Old Dominion. I’m not sure they will give me my hazmat when the fingerprints clear. I’m stuck in a grey area where nobody has answers. It’s frustrating. Supposedly you can’t take the test until you pass the hazmat course. I’ve already taken the test. So it would seem like I should be good to go but it’s looking like the BMV doesn’t think that’s the case. So here we are, stuck, nobody knows where to go or the cost for hazmat, which we need to get hired in for these local home daily ltl jobs that provide the training we need. I have no clue what to do.
