Thank you very much, I was looking for exact same comparison for some time ! I own OE device and always was wondering how much different it is compare to golden standard - Carson. I read many complains about OE lens and poor coating, but looking to mine I believed it must have been improved and you just confirmed my assumption. So for me and my use case (low light outdoors) the only real upgrade would be Boomslang, but I will rather save money for thermal :). Thanks, you're awesome !

I can’t believe this video JUST released, I just subscribed today after finding your channel and watching all of your super informative videos, I was looking for videos comparing PVS-14s and I just checked KZbin and saw this. Wow

I zoomed in so I wouldn’t know which is which and the Carson was noticeably better especially where there are light sources the tube & optics need to resolve. Appreciate the video.

Nice comparison. Will you also compare other different PVS-14 optics in the future? Such as the rare Edmund, and commercial lenses like Salvo Electro Optics, AAPO and Argus LW?

We will compare what we can get. Salvo optics video is coming soon!

I have the standard version with NNVT and an CH Iris and mainly run it out in the boonies away from light sources and i love them. They may be the most cost effective but they still give me superpowers to see clearly at night.

Super glad you are enjoying them my dude!

Thanks as always for your informative and thorough content! I was wondering if you neighbors up north are calculating EBI differently at all? I have had 4 different spec sheets of L3 Harris WP with the best EBI being 0.8 and worst being 1.0 and other peers having the same (one had 0.7), so to see anything below .5 let alone reach to .2 and below has me wondering if there is a unit or decimal exchange.

Love your videos, super in depth and informative. Could you do a video comparing your low range, a mid range, and highest nvg tubes for PVS-14s. Trying to find the tube for me

Im a scrub, can you upgrade your lenses with minimal fuss later or does it need to be professionally done?

Very easy. Just need an objective lens wrench really

Would be a poor use of money. Just buy the american set now

so you are saying both bodies have brass inserts to hold the screws... and one of them doesn't just have threaded plastic... Every cheaper NON-Carson body I have ever owned had threaded plastic while all Carson bodies have brass inserts the screws thread into. Please reply.
@coldharboursupply8 ай бұрын
Yep both have brass inserts for the screws.

You should review the night operators pro and see if it is actually good

What tube brand were you using. Not L3 due to the ebi number. Photonis?
@coldharboursupply8 ай бұрын
Photonis Echo+
