I am no longer shopping for homes--my wife and I bought a 3100 sf spec home back in '07, two stories, four bedrooms, three full baths, upstairs master with a deck that has unrestricted views of our community park, his and hers closets, separate soaking tub and shower. In addition to a breakfast nook, formal dining space, family and living room it has an upstairs loft and also a computer den, and one of the upstairs bedrooms has a walk in closet. Despite lucking out, finding our forever home, we and our daughter always loved touring floorplans and would look at model homes. I enjoy your videos because when I am fully retired I plan on moving from Phoenix to Arizona's White Mountains which have four seasons, including snow, and putting a one bedroom tiny home on a half acre to two acre lot which my now ex wife suggests would be an ideal place for her to move to be with me in retirement She is not an empty nester yet--our 25 yo daughter got her Masters in May and still enjoys living with her Mom, who still works. I now live in one of the cheapest yet safest apartment complexes Phoenix offers, even the entire US, with a monthly rent that includes furnishings and utilities for just $807, which oddly was about the amount of our first home's mortgage, also a spec in Phoenix. Only our second home, a 2100 sf two story, was built from scratch along with my Mom's last home. Your videos I enjoy because of your humor and the attention to detail u show touring these homes. I moved to Phoenix from Napa where I was raised because Napa's tourist industry drove up home prices--a home like the one in this video if on land would be close to two million in Napa whereas much much less in Arizona. Even though our forever home was a two story, my Mom had the most perfect one story--1500 sf, two bedrooms, a den, family room, breakfast nook with bay window, living and dining, two person soaking tub in the master, and laundry room with window. We later remodeled it as general contractors, my wife and I, and put in granite counters, tile floors extended into the bedroom hallway, and new luxury carpeting and doubled our investment when the home was sold. The realtor who helped us was a colleague of mine--we both worked as lead QA analysts for a huge software company whose customer's included Lowes and Kohls and Walmart. Though older than you, he used his Christian intuition like yours to find us the right buyer knowing my wife and I worked full time and could not show the house. My Mom's one story 1500sf floorplan I found for her in the planned community of Pebble Creek in Goodyear Arizona, a 55+ community. Though one of their cheapest models, it had the best features, especially the huge soaking tub, and was just 150K, 100K less than what her north Napa 1200sf home sold for in '01. Later that home, extensively remodeled, sold for over 500K and since I grew up in it into college, I saved pics of the remodeling its new owner had done. I've always considered a home a roof over my head. The homes of our family were not because we were rich--we just bought and always financed and sometimes refinanced at the right time and our equity helped with the down payment. But the beauty of sharing a living space like this is we can vicariously enjoy it, something impossible before channels like Y-tube existed.

The exterior of this home looks nice, but I'd like it in either navy blue or white to give it that farmhouse look that I love. Beautiful home! I still need a much larger pantry. I can & bake, & have all of that along with basic pantry foods, containers of flours, and dried goods. Along with all of the pots, canning equipment, roasters and crockpots, instant pot, etc. in other words, show me the homes with XXL Pantry! :) Large Master Suite with XL closet & bath/shower, office area, breakfast & dining room, family room & living room, large porch…. Something for a Country Family to live in. :). LOVE your videos, keep em coming!
