Respect trigger! 🤜🤛 Honest down to earth content. The first thing a decent painter learns is how to get out of sticky spots. This was a perfect video for this and a great addition to the channel. Even the most experienced painters encounter these problems. That Sagola Is a beast 👹. I came very close to getting one but in a few ways I'm glad I didn't because I could see myself getting in a lot of trouble with it 🤣. I remember watching the first video you posted regarding the razor tool. It has saved my arse so many times. We have another painter in the bodyshop and he gets some shocking runs. naturally I'm asked to save the paintwork...but I don't mind. Others take the piss but I realise we can all have bad days. Plus I would rather try and help the act negative. Great content trigger and fantastic work with the channel. Spray on brother 🤜🤛

I love seeing you have “issues” that little dab spot I’ve done and plenty of boat haha one time I missed a small weld with clear. Was a 5 inch long weld and I just dabbed the clear on and it was perfect. Nobody would ever know.

Very smart tip using the matched paint color for the last couple coats over the value shade color. Lol at 13.30 making you product stretch. The charger Turned out great. This is a perfect video for me right now. I'll be painting the mustang after the cold snap and only have enough paint to get it right once. I know the feeling trying to make paint stretch. Hell yeah! I’ll check out the clip. I use razor blades all the time. I’ve only gotten 3 boats out with 0 runs. My usual is 4-7 which isn’t to bad compared to others I’ve seen paint the same boats.

I think a spray out card is the way to go on these difficult colours but when you are in a busy shop like yours you don't always get time, the a few months later it comes back for more refinishing and you wish you had done the spray out card 🤦‍♂🤠😂

we do that all the time great to get rid of old materials too. Less paint in CA paint is expensive. 2x to 3x the price. but like you say if you make a mistake your screwed. you might have to do a total rematch.....Second paint color I would go 1.0. this make it super fine and cover a little better over that covered panel.

Thank you. I've tried that a few times. It just seems like that little bit of tape over the edges gives you a little gap that allows a smooth scrape. But at the end of the day they all work 🫡💪🏼

Happy New Year... #1Make sure you're using a hot enough reducer. If it's a hot hot day use slowe reducer. If it's cooler day you can get away with fast. What's happening is your paint is drying before it hits the car. #2 don't hold the gun so far back get a little closer and just turn the pressure down some. Those are the main causes. 💪🏼

What up Ricky, when the fender was new I sanded with 400, sealed it then base and clear. And there is is no quick and easy way my man 😢 sand that sucker down then wash it, dry it, mask then shoot. 🥴

Man there are so many good clears out there my favorite is PPG 2021 clear but that's like $800 . I use the Am-Tech clear at the shop been spraying it 11 years now no issues nothing come back.
