I was winning a lot as well with the deso build. Even with razes it is good. The idea is you do not gank and get your mid tower while the enemy mid ganks. And then you focus on getting all tier 1s. It is so much value and it opens up the map and then you group with bkb and 5 man

Im guardian 5 (was 4, went to 5 with this game). Saw this, went in the game on mid vs huskar. Not a good farmer (still learning efficiency). got deso at 19, skipped shard blink, went for bkb( too many spell casters in enemy). took me 28 mins to get online. I went from 1-1-0 to 29-2-5 at 38 mins and ended the game. I play in SEA btw. Championing for the chat lane "farm the camp, farm the lane"

If it works, I don't see any fault. I used to do a raze build, magic type for SF before 7.33 but since the Arcane blink got nerfed hard, I think going physical on SF is the way to go. I'll definitely try this on my pubs though I'm sure my teammates will flame me for this lol.

@@samuelelliott8453 I liked the arcane blink before 7.33. Main reason is the faster cast point and mana reduction. Imagine, buy it on a 5 slotted monkey king. Blink in, cast wukong then boundless. It gives you no time to react. Same with SF, blink in then req - refresher - ss again.

@@Tin9102 a 7 sec blink cd means you have blink on a 4 sec CD if you have euls. Puck with phase shift also makes it a 4 sec CD or it means there's a 1 sec CD if puck has both. Slardar w is on an 8 sec CD. 7 sec blink means he can blink stun every 8 seconds as opposed to every 15 seconds.

When I was still playing dota 1 lan with my friends, I first saw this hero's abilities and noticed that his 2nd and 3rd works so well together, I thought why would I ever want to level up shadowraze if I can't level the same ability in a row to make it stronger (since the other abilities doesn't synergize to it anyway)? Been having success with this build with a 80% winrate over 20 games this week. Been getting WB, treads, and deso by the 12min mark. At that point you can farm or rotate and 2 or 3 hit most heroes. I think i like shadowblade better than blink for attack speed and damage out of invis. Sometimes I do shard before sb... but sometimes after. Then deadalus, and satantic... games usually over at 25-30mins... so fun to play.

Old sf was broken when raze was 75 mana but the nerfs to his mana cost and stats put him in the gutter so they ended up doing all of those reworks to try to make him relevant again. Still a good hero but the stats are still too trash. OD going stats early does a good job to solve that problem giving his hero like 3-4 extra circlets at the cost of some utility. Also giving up raze simplifies how you want to play the hero since there is no skill factor involved in landing raze anymore. I can understand the approach. People often forget that stats are king in the early game of dota and can lead to some heavy snowball. Having an extra bracer in your inventory if you skip a few spell points can make or break a lot of fights.

tbh he's the same as he always was...dominates most mid lane match ups goes on a feeding spree after winning his lane gets carried by his team until hes 6 slotted ridiculously early. Especially this patch... just feels like gold falls from the skies and you are never shutting anyone down. There is so much more rotations but it feels more irrelevant than ever.

Shadow Fiend is exceptionally strong right now. I've managed to increase my Mmr by 2000 simply by relying on a Dagon-centric Shadow Fiend playstyle. Now, I'm playing at a 4100 MMR level. My item build typically involves Dagon, Boots of Travel, Silver Edge, and Black King Bar. As the hero approaches level 25, you can consider incorporating Gleipnir into your build. For late-game scenarios, combining Ethereal Blade and Disperser proves to be very effective. P. S How to farm faster. Ask nicely position 4 support to stack ancients for you and then farm it with smoke.

I'm using this build on archon and have about 75% winrate, only time I lose is when the other lanes feed super hard or the enemy has a lot of movility heroes. Even in some games where I lost mid I just go farm my deso and SB or bkb and then go delete some supports and towers and boom, easy comeback. Sometimes the enemy has a lot of disable/stuns and make the tfs super hard to win, then I just go splitpush, if they leave me alone I delete their entire base in like 10 seconds, shit's insane.

the hero has it all. flash farm, insane right click, slowing by raze debuff. I forgot the amount of kills i got as safelane sf at lvl1 because they underestimate the stacking raze dmg. Many just spams their 3 raze thus making the stacking and slowing impossible. just hit 2 razes in 3 second intervals and suddenly you will have a 200 ms enemy offlaner trying to escape yet fail to do so. Shard is great as it makes souls gained 2x. fear and crit isnt the best part, the double souls is. You died? you revive, 2 razes on pushing minions and u have 10 souls back. Dragon Lance mask of madness with the %10 mresist tier1 jungle item for mana regen and you are more-less set for farming. If enemy has hp based heroes just go desolator assault and you have almost 20 armor shred. if enemy has huge armor heroes like terrorblade with little hp go for euls sange-kaya and you are set. hero used to be a jack-of-all that sucks on all. now it became a jack-of-all trades that can do all when itemized right.

If you think about it, it makes a lot of sense to some degree. Not saying it is better than the normal shadow raze build but you can't say it is straight up worse. This build requires no need to manage mana so you do not have to go bottle. At level 2, with a blight stone, you are hitting your enemy for -6 armor which can SHRED at trading because the creeps will be hitting the other guy like a truck if he tries to step up to you and contest last hits. The early mask makes it easy to jungle and not rely on raze to farm, but I'm not sure about going max aura. I think maxing necro first is fine but still think you should at least get 1 point in raze for the slow alone, since your mana has no other use but hey can't argue with those results either!!! Lol I love how OD pixel says the build is broken because he knows he's not a good player and is getting such good results from it hahaha

Deso build is legit I’ve tried it, 80% win rate in 10 games. Shadow blade for low mmr, blink for higher mmr. But the most broken thing is the talent - presence affects buildings, you need that for those 20min games.

Actually I'm surprised nobody is talking about Veno Carry since 7.33 My man was changed to Universal and since then my page has never been greener... I play this as a Veno pos 4, you don't need last hits that much since you'll get your gold from kills most of the time. What hurts this build are nuking supports, Lion, Skywrath, you get the idea. In early I go for high regen (6 Tangos, Fire, mango or two, fluffy hat - which will go into Hurricane Pike later on) And I rush Threads, Dragon Lance - now either Shadow Blade or finish my Pike ... if I need some kind of escape yet we are winning I go for Shadow Blade to easily catch carries jungling or run away like a little bitch, at the same time it's always nice to have an option for Silver Edge if you need break. I get wards like i'm supposed to, since I often run to their jungle to catch off someone and thanks to wards you always have to clear 2 camps at a time (in enemy jungle if possible to not to steal gold from your own carries) Skadi is usually my next item but sometimes I go for Scepter if they clump together as a team so you spread your cancer to the whole team :^) Going Veno with the old boring Veil with urn and just spamming wards ain't so good now (still good don't get me wrong) since now you get all the damages from all stats which makes you a great glass cannon for sure :^) I usually go some tanky item as last, Shiva, AC, Crimpson or Pipe to at least have one of those items covered for your team for the Teamfights

There is simply a skill cap. No amount of playing can push you over a specific skill level. For him its probably around divine. Does that mean he is bad? Dude .. divine is 2k mmr more then you and divine makes him top 5% of all dota players. Thats not bad at dota. And please don't even start with: oh but he played thousands of games, that makes him bad ... just because you practice a lot doesn't make your skill level you reach any less then someone who reached it with half the games ... its still the same fucking skill level.

Because statically in everybracket ppl will try to win a game, in general. If u play a hero with lets say over 55% winrate and its YOUR stat on this hero. Why would u get stuck enywhere? If u played at 2k mmr, in general, both team want to win, and u have 55+% winrate, then, u play at 4k mmr, what will change? U still play on a hero that u statistically good at, and still both teams in general want to win. Yes sometimes ur teamnate gave up for no reason, but, when u have an easy game that possibly means that someone in enemy team gave up early, so we even on that part.

Imagine going mid to get fast levels for fast skill points and may be ulti, only to use it on +ses 😂 No wonder he has to mute everyone. And with such build he is not getting out of jungle till 20-25mins cause he's got nothing but right click, kinda like another AM but from mid. That's why I'd tolerate it from pos1, but it's very tilting for pos2. And if pos1 is also very passive I feel like it'd be a lost game. He's WR though says he's doing something right...

Man I had perfect Start and I just lost again, cuz there is no fking way to play like this. Yes, you have imba dmg, but this game is so much more than just high dmg hits. I get disabled so much and I can barele make 2-3 hits and they all jump on me. Before my team knows I am dead... Simply garbage build. YOU need BKB asap. Dagger is not helping you do shit, except blink to farm camps faster. IDK... I am never trying this again. I lost like 3 stars playing this sht. got pissed. No wonder the pros are not doing this... I think something is very fishy here.
