Mike, you, Ryan and Eric ate exactly the type of people who I surround myself with...someone who knows MORE than I do, and someone who knows LESS than I do, but has a great work ethic and wants to grow and develop. I want to be around people who can help me grow and that I can help them grow too. Eric has more than shown he wants to do that! None of us are an island unto ourselves. We need to keep moving and growing while passing that knowledge on to those coming behind us. I'm proud of Eric and Ryan too! Both guys has been thru a lot thru out their lives. Eric has changed countries which he would he live in, learn to speak English, got married and has a child to raise. That's a lot for a twenty some guy. Ryan hasn't had a great live style either but look where he is today. I don't know them personally but learn about them watchin their videos. Mike, those valve cover issues were very common. Most go bad from the heat. Causing them to turn brittle. The same thing can happen to the injector harnesses inside the valve cover. I would recommend changing out BOTH valve cover gaskets, even though they say they are reusable. They were known for shorting out the injector harness's back when I worked on them. I would also replace the two o'rings on the breather element that you remove on the driver side vc. They were also a common oil leak. Power strokes were incredible engines, but they had common issues. Which makes for easy diagnostics. By the way. When the harness was unplugged you loosed all four injectors which causes a really rough idle. ICP would be a simple NO START. (If I remember correctly)GLOW PLUG SOLENOIDS were also common. I always had a spare with me. Just like a starter solenoid. Heat cycles ware them out. Love your attitude and channel !!! 👊

Hey Mike! I enjoyed you sharing some welding today. A little safety message: you were using a cutting blade on your grinder when a thicker grinding disc would’ve done the trick. The grinding discs can handle the pressure that you’re wanting to put down. I’d love to see more welding in your future videos!
