This has been my favorite auto rifle forever and it getting reworked has been a dream come true. One for All on 720 autos is The only way to go. Now that you know get a krait (stasis) and a sweet sorrow (Arc). The stats for all one for all combo can roll on both. Pairing destabilizing rounds with the controlled demolition aspect on void Titan means every destabilizing blast you get to a 90 HP heal for you and the team. Add in over shields and devour and you're literally unkillable just mowing down enemies with this roll on Reckless

The kind of damage rotation I use my envious arsenal + vorpal omniscient eye for is a bns heavy gl with cascade point, as you can proc that with just two crits. For everything else, I just use the ikelos sniper

I think there's a lack of acknowledgement of the origin trait for the utility of these weapons. The stun etfect is really useful, and that damage against shields stacks with damage perks or even Armor Piercing Rounds on the weapons that roll it

Perfect paradox is arguable the best pve legendary shotgun imo (last season) field prep and 12punch and trench alongside a origin trait that reloads on melee damage which both of the best damage perks are used for. Only downside being a kinetic weapon. This is definitely a solid pvp shotgun. But also has decent competition with things like deadlock. A close second to this shotgun being scavengers fate (slightly worse perk combos) and someday another craftable precision frame

With regards to omniscient eye: i ran the numbers (probably wrong but oh well), and it turns out the difference between 10 shots of vorpal and 10 shots of enhanced PI (which does more damage than regular precision instrument btw) is only about 1.039% In terms of damage, the difference is so minuscule it doesnt matter which damage perk you go with, but vorpal will be the much more consistent perk (and thus IMO the better perk). Note the following: -base damage was taken from d2foundry's default strike boss value -the calculations are based off 1 mag, which is achieved by using FTTC but no other mag boosting perks (simply because im weird and prefer the nice, clean number of 10 shots to what would be 11 or 12 shots with tac or back-up mag) -vorpal damage was calculated by taking the base value, then multiplying by 1.15 (for a total of 222'646.8 damage) -PI damage was calculated starting at base and ramping up, as it would in the real game (for a total of 225'066.86 damage, and 231'359.05 when enhanced) Also, if you're curious, the ikelos sniper under the same conditions (base dmg pulled from d2foundry, 6-mag + FTTC + focused fury) yields a 1-mag value of 220'710.74. This means omniscient is slightly better than ikelos (omniscient also has slightly better stats in every relevant category)

I still think Adept Word of Crota is the best void handcannon in the game with rolls like destabilizing/dragonfly, but Ancient Gospel is good as well. 180s are amazing in pve since their buff but are still mostly overlooked, mostly because we haven't really gotten any new ones with current meta perks besides Word, but they're really good in pve, especially for overload handcannon whenever that comes back. If we ever get one with kinetic tremors/one for all or incandescent/heal clip I think ppl will start to realize how good they really are. Posterity is a good example. Everyone uses Nation of Beasts over Posterity despite Posterity having better rolls with the best being voltshot and either rampage or frenzy(definitely frenzy for things like gms) with Nation's best being voltshot/dragonfly(or a reload perk, dragonfly is just fun). Posterity is miles better but is slept on cause the community has been conditioned to hate 180s as they were so bad for so long, but after many damage buffs and mag size and range buffs later, they're actually really really good.

I’ve been looking to get a good Reckless Oracle for my Gyrfalcon builds for AGES but getting people to run this raid is like pulling teeth. Now that it’s been reprised with actual good perks AND a great origin trait, I’m looking forward to getting the pattern for either De-Stabalizing or Subsistence + Paracausal. I managed to get a paracausal roll and the thing feels amazing without doing anything to it. I’ve been loving running stasis with the Mask of Fealty this season, if Bungie ever gives us a new void melee for the hunter it’ll probably convince me to play more void… they’re well on their way to getting me off running nonstop Prismatic

Prophet of Doom had a single act to shine as the best pvp shotty in the energy slot until act 2 brought Scavengers Fate that can roll closing time AND lone wolf which Prophet can't. Closing time and discord is also an amazing roll for 6s as it gives the bonuses similar to lone wolf but also gives free ammo with the only caveat being you need a primary kill first which is easy to do in things like quickplay and IB, though for Trials and comp I'd stick with lone wolf.

Envious Arsenal pairs much better with the best damage rotations than 4th times does on Omniscient Eye. Especially if you're going for dps and using cascade/B&S instead of Envious on Chill Inhibitor and using your subclass to reload your launcher. But this has always had some of my favorite weapons in the game, Reckles Oracle is still my favorite auto, Zealots Reward is my favorite fusion, and the bow was a weapon i always wanted but never even dropped once! Accrued Redemption with Successful Warm Up/Firefly has been doing wonders for ad clear. I've never been a huge bow enjoyer, but between this thing and Archer's/Voltshot Non-Denoument, I'm starting to swing that way. The problem with talking about Palindrome during the Ancient Gospel bit is that Zavala doesn't fucking sell Palindrome. If he did, I wouldn't have bothered getting the IKELOS HC and Word of Crota patterns. Loving Reckless Oracle on my Second Chance build. The only other gun I had with Repulsor Brace/Destabilizing Rounds was the Omolon void HC, and that thing felt like a pig to use. Plus, the thing sounds sick as fuck.

Sacred Provenance is one of the slickest looking and sounding guns ever added to Destiny though, and the sight is absolutely S tier. Rapid Hit and KC/Headseeker will do you super well in PvP. Kinetic Tremors by itself isn't my favorite either, especially for things like gms, that honor goes to one for all, the eaisest to proc damage perk for high end activities with the highest damage bonus for the smallest amount of work. But there's no better perk to pair with one for all than kinetic tremors, those tremor's AOE procs OFA for near unlimited uptime. Explosive Payload also does this and is a free damage bonus but it's AOE doesn't reach near as far(especially after the recent nerf it got to it's range) and doesn't do as much damage as Kinetic Tremors either. My Blast Furnace and Hung Jury are now my 2 favorite gm weapons for the Kinetic slot and Bungie did a huge L by not allowing Midnight Coup to roll this combo, EP and Kinetic Tremors was it's combo instead so I opted for EP and OFA on the Coup instead and fell it works much better in gms than the Tremors roll. But there's one thing Kinetic Tremors is amazing for, pairing with shoot to loot. If you have the dungeon denial frame with attrition orbs and pair it with a shoot to loot Tremors Hung Jury, it's a solo content god combo. You can basically keep yourself alive indefinitely with the orbs it generates and get instantly picked up by shoot to loot when used with recooperation and/or better already on your boots(and recoop is free with the Artifact boost this season). Go into a solo gm or master sector, shoot an Overload to stun and debuff it then swap to Jury and keep getting health and super regen, it's an amazing combo. So to me Kinetic Tremors is good on it's own but it's only when it's paired with something else that it's real utility comes through.
