Nice to see some proper collectable VHS. I miss those squishy tape boxes. Would love to see your psvr collection once you have completed it. There is a PAL A ita robcop 3 as i had it . The final fight series feels at home on the snes. Awesome stuff as always

Very nice set of scores Nick! Forgotten Worlds is a great game, I can remember even the old CPC 464 version being solid. I always struggle with non-analogue controls though, takes persistence to get used to aiming as well rather than just purely firing forwards and dodging like in most shooters. I've always found it interesting how the standards for condition of games from Japan are so different. I feel sorry for any Japanese people importing anything from the West, with our more relaxed attitudes to condition (in general).

Yeah Owen that’s a good point - I wonder if there are any Japanese collectors importing any thing from the west, such as western exclusives on the mega drive, Atari or original Xbox games??? They were so spoiled for native games with a genuine gaming culture that trumps the West.

There's no denying those black universal game cases look a lot nicer in black than the transparent ones I have Don't blame you going for repros on those expensive titles, exactly what I'd do myself, no game is worth crazy money You got some nice Super Famicom titles and a nice deal from Surugaya Great addition as usual Nick 👍

Thanks James. I have completely ran out of room for mega drive and Nintendo retro cartridge games. So no more for those systems. Just as well as there are about 40 retro jap games I want to get on other systems which are a slow burn as they aren’t cheap. Thanks for watching buddy. 😊

Thanks Ed. I get the dark grey universal cases from Zlabz and just print my own artwork from the CoverProject on to decent Hp photo paper and guillotine down to size. They look smashing in my opinion and if I was collecting from scratch I would only collects carts and have universal cases for all of the games…although the super famicom and famicom boxes are really really sexy CIB. Yeah the retro port adapter is ok….but with my retro freak and analogue pocket I can easily play the nes Roms that way, but the retro port still gives that option to play the original carts. 😊

Yeah buddy. I’m not keen on loose carts on the shelf and rather have them in a nice universal cases. The Cover Project have produced multiple choices of art for many many games. I even found a few specialist universal cases for GBA/Gameboy/Gameboy color games that match the size of the American DS cases but have the correct fixtures for GBC. With printed art from the cover project they also look great for my dozen loose carts, sitting next to my CIB GBC games😊.

Hels bells Nick and I thought I had a load of collectables lol thats an impressive shelf there pal, I slowly collect the vinyl music as well but still have no means to play it LOL Exterminator of the year never heard of that one, some interesting games like the look of RoboCop 3 there pal Repros I dont do many of them except the superman one on the Megadrive I purchased so I could actually play the game lol Final Fight boxes looking sweet, thats good to know om the Japanese games their poor is our good Nicely shared as always Nick hope your safe and well pal

Thanks Bill. I think you should treat yourself to a hi fi. Both Sony and Technics still produce turntables, although there are many great vintage turntables out there. I have all of my separates connected to a modern Sony mini hi fi so that I still have modern functionalities. If you ever get a vintage tape deck I would recommend spending a bit more to get one that’s been recapped and new belts added, as tape decks are tricky to take apart compared to other separates, which we can always do if we have to. Nice pickups! I always like to see the imports you pickup as I always discover new games that I've never heard about before! Yes the condition on Japanese stuff is insane! I order some imports from time to time and they will put Good and when the game arrives it's in pristine condition! Great video and keep up the good work!

gotta love that old vhs artwork. i m with you on the repro carts. some games are just too expensive. i will need to look up that japanese store. how do you spell it? what vr games are you missing and how many titles are there total
