@@Gold2thGaming Thanks mate. I’m very proud of my wall of retro and personal toot. Yeah RofR UK was something I thought would always be out of my reach, and simply too much, but at the current price I can get it with my months budget, not breaking the bank. Not everyone’s choice of game but as a big ps2 collector it’s a grail, but not a super rare one as there are many more obscure games, but none as famous.

Its crazy that all those UK copies have been found. It makes you wonder how many other 505 games are still waiting to be found. There is also a water mark on the disks that are impossible to to fake. Well worth grabbing one now Id love a Japanese rule of rose now. Great stuff✌️✌️

Thanks Ed. The Italian store gamespark92 have several sealed ps2 games including uncommon 505 games like paparazzi, sayauki, zombie zone etc. I reckon they have discovered quite a few games in storage. It’s good there’s more about making them more accessible for genuine collectors and not just resellers/speculators.

Good stuff Nick. I'd heard about those Italian copies or ROR. Can't say it's my cup of tea, but if a uk copy were to come my way for a good price i know I'd have to reconsider 😂.

Great to know another tuber who had one of those Prop Shot toys….they are awesome…it had slipped my mind for years and then I had a nostalgic memory recall…took a lot of digging to find out what they were called. 😊

I’d still like to get the Switch Lite, you’re right they could have pushed the boat a little on the design. Wow two copies of Rule of Rose, what a baller lol. Fair play mate it’s your money and I’m sure you’ll not lose any money on it. Take it easy mate.

I had no idea that Kuon had a full UK version, I can imagine how it goes for megabucks. I know it doesn't always seem to make a difference though, I didn't know there was a full UK version of Dragon Blaze until a few years ago. I thought I'd never see one until a copy popped up in my only local game shop for £140, about the same price (at the time). I thought it'd get snapped up but it's hung around, every time I go in I'm trying to justify buying it and ditching my more common euro copy. Hasn't happened, and he's not dropping his price.....! haha I have nabbed myself a copy of Rule of Rose. I wasn't too comfortable with the price (more than what you paid....) but I'm hoping, in the future when they're less common, that it'll prove to be a decent purchase price-wise. As you say, there won't be another print, and if the value of some of the other PS2 survival horror games is anything to go by, its value will only go one way.

Thanks Owen. Yeah you won’t lose money on Rule of Rose. Just bide your time but who are we kidding we won’t sell them as we’re collectors. It’s the most sought after game on the system, although not the rarest or most valuable. The Italian store on eBay gamespark92 have several sealed copies of other rare games like Legend of Sayuki, Zombie Zone, Paparazzi etc. They must be from the same 505 warehouse. Can’t wait for the final series (next year i think) Love that plane toy and great you’ve got it back in the collection after having those childhood memories. I didn’t know about the portal earphones so will look into. I haven’t had my handheld long but haven’t had any issues with lag that some others have had; I do have the ps5 wired to my model so perhaps that helps stabilise one part of the connection. Some big ole ps2 hitters there 😯 Interesting to hear about the back story for Rule of Rose. Good decision on grabbing the Uk one mate. Great stuff as always!!

Yeah- the stranger things records are good as they have the pop songs from the show with inserts. It isn’t just the main soundtrack. Yeah the last show will either be epic or an anti climax. I suspect there will be spin offs like with the walking dead series. Take care mate. 😊

Great pickups as always and thanks for sharing, I know what your saying regarding the Zelda switch lite design its a little lazy especially with the packaging. They did a much better job with the new 3DS designs Imo, I'm finding those hard to find for a reasonable price especially new sealed. I might grab one of those Rule of Rose copies while I can as like you say they won't be around forever and prices will creep up again at some point, the hardest to find PS2 game for me is Sengoku Anthology, I think I have only seen around 2 copies listed in 5 years on eBay. I do want Kuon though as I love From Software so need to pull the trigger on that one at some point. All the best :)

Yeah mate Sengoku atnthology is super rare. Eddie Rollercore had a copy I believe. Not one I’m seeking though as my focus is horror and shooters although I do own many other genres but beat em ups I more picky focusing on snk and Capcom titles. Thanks for watching chap. I think you're probably right about Rule of Rose so can imagine they will dry up again at some point The only way the price will drop is if someone decides to re release it on a modern console but even if they do it would be modified probably so the demand will probably still be there for the original 👍

Yeah…it has the backstory and reputation that attracts the collectors and sadly the resellers….that demand will keep the price high, which is a bit of a shame for those collectors on a smaller budget. Quite a number of uncommon games from 505 have been discovered but this one is the most famous, although there are many rarer games. Take care James. 😊

Stranger things very nice pal your plane toy I had a similar tou but it was a helicopter I always got it stuck on the roof of the house lol Switch I can still count on one hand how many times i've used mine lol Nice one Nick Rule of Rose I did a vid on it years ago my wife got me mine for my 40th birthday now some 12 years ago and your right bad press never officially band in fact the UK when they looked at it said it was fine even when there was a scene which is suggestive but nothing more, mine is the spanish version and was cheap compared to today's prices and I also read in the press that a load had been found and that prices should drop WOW still a lot my wife paid under £150 I get what your saying i have regretted paying £200 pounds on a game before now and a few are no longer for sale on ebay anymore the guy game is one of them OK controversial but I wanted a complete XBOX collection very hard game to get hold of now. Nice one Nick Nope not mad pal might just do the same thing lol geat watch pal as always

Yeah I realised afterwards I meant 30th anniversary- even that sounds mad. Yeah totally get why you wouldn’t care for RofR - if you don’t collect for that system it’s not your desire - you could get many vintage point and click big box games for that.
