Great report, really love the jungle board. 1 thing, you can't evade a unit with a cognis-signum because it gives the unit the Night Vision rule which stops the target making any shroud rolls.

Are you sure, you can pick the the Divisio Tactica in a detachment like you did? As I read it on pg. 64 of the mechanicum book, you have to either pick just a lord of war or use the Titan Maniple Detachment. It clearly states that you can't pick in any other force org or detachment. Which is pretty sad, admittedly. I was really pumped, thinking about adding skitarii to my mechanimum force. :(

Actually you can take it as he has, if you look at the Titan Maniple Detachment the compulsory option is 1 Lord of War *or* 1 Troops, so either its a typo and its supposed to be *and* or the diagram is misleading. So you can just take the 1 Compulsory Troop choice and then up to 2 HQ without ever having to take a Titan

Hey mate, ye as Ed says (you can do it in marine armies aswell which is great for adding them to hands/warriors) But ye: there needs to be some sort of living doc that includes detachments avaliable(/special rules that confer) cos it’s super obscure atm

@@BearfootMiniatures The only iffy bit is that when you run a Mech Primary the allies matrix stops you running Mech secondary detachments, even though the FAQ removed the rule that you could never have more than 1 mech detachment in an army. Its a bit stupid that as IH I can run allied Mech, allied LoW, allied Questoris and allied Titan detachments all in 1 force org, but Mech main cannot as its written. All because of a messy diagram that makes little sense and is far from complete thanks to all the newer factions not being in it.

Can the Axiarch join the Scyllax? I thought with Scyllax being automata that non-automata couldn't join, or does the guardian rule override the automata rule?

Hey mate! Guardian overrides it, with its rules negating things about automata when a characters in the squad and giving downsides when they’re not

Graviton Pulse special rule isn't a normal strength test, it's roll under S to pass, 6 always failing! Great game, though, those mech are beautiful!

Hey mate! I thought it was just based on a successful charge that you had to take the ld or die test, and with failing it because of my immediate fallback it wouldn’t come into effect (?) TO THE RULEBOOK!! Haha Glad you enjoyed the game! Me and Phil are actually about to start recording a narrative campaign (hopefully it’ll force him onto the channel more haha)
