Section 902 on the DSC NEO is only for enrolling, editing and deleting modules, like zone expanders, and has no effect on wireless devices. You may be thinking of the reception test from the previous generation (1832, 1864) system that was in section 902. The NEO does support a wireless placement test in section 904 that is similar, however, this does not always fix a not networked issue. Tampering a device gives an audible and visual reference on the keypad showing when the device makes the connection.
