been really enjoying meowgister's custom taiko charts lately and found out he charted caravan from whiplash. couldn't resist the urge to make a taiko drum liveplay~

very impressive! this was charted very close to how it is played on an actual drumset so it’s impressive you played it so well with only half the limbs!

i guess you dont play drums. while this is cool the sticking is entirely different to start and the transcription is far more layered. you have the constant hi hats on the left foot 8ths or quarters, group of 3 skip note ostinato with bell on the right hand, left hand sort of backbeat with ghost note pattern. and obv the kick drum interacting with the backbeat as you would expect. im not sure what transcription you have seen or what drumset universe you come from but its quite simply not the same. not trying to take away from the video here but just for the sake of accuracy of information lmao.
