I travel every now and then overseas and I travel alone sometimes. I can care less what other people think. As long as I feel safe, you can stare and ask questions all you want. The travel is for pleasure, not business (my career doesn't require me to travel).

Not sure why KZbin recommended this, but since I'm here: due to some circumstances, I eat out by myself a lot. Yes, people do look, but I guarantee they stare and judge WAY less than you think. Do it a few times and you'll get out of your head and enjoy yourself. Also, you dressed up which draws more attention.

Why is it considered not normal to eat food in a restaurant without company? Food is food is food...!! Restaurant sells food, you're there for food. It's not like the restaurant sells condoms, and you're buying one solo for whatever reason.
