I love the cleansing oil & the masque! I think the cleansing oil is a lot like buildup buster but...better? 🙊 Haven’t tried the leave-in but I might need to get just as for the heat protection. I also really like the normal Curl Talk shampoo & conditioner. Not a huge fan of the stylers though - a little too light for my hair and not enough hold. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Amna Alhashmi I def like the shampoo and the hair mask. The conditioner I feel like is missing something, when you put it on you can’t really like run your fingers through. The cream is to heavy for my hair. And I love the gel

Thanks for video! I've been using their regular shampoo & conditioner and I really dig it! I just tried the hair mask for the first time last week and totally like it and its definitely the same smell as their hair cream! I was a bit skeptical about purchasing the hair cleansing oil but after your review I will give it a shot! I did try the refreshing foam on day 2 & 3 and its ...ok ...but nothing like the Ouidad or Devacurl refresher spray... I definitely prefer the refresher to be more of a pump than a foam. Can't wait to hear what you think when you try it... part 2 :)

Am I doing something wrong my hair hates these products. I've tried spring time summer time fall and winter By itself, with the gel, or just gel, with the mousse , or just the mousse and my hair comes out so dry and frizzy every single time air dry or with s diffuser. I have not found a single product with not your mother's that works with my hair and I've tried and tried and just ended up wasting money instead And then I see her hair all gorgeous 😭😭😭

Have you tried Not Your Mother’s Naturals Tahitian Gardenia Flower and Mango Butter Curl Defining line? If so what are your thoughts? would you use this Natural line or Curl Talk line? Heyy! I just recently bought the entire Curl Talk line (I'm starting a curly hair journey for the first time!) Questionnn, do you use the cleansing oil before or after you use their shampoo? I didn't understand if when you wet your hair if you shampooed and conditioned off camera and then used the cleansing oil and masque. Or if you just used the cleansing oil to wash your hair.

I would be cautious with these products as they are rated 8-9/10 on the Think Dirty App. (10 being the “dirtiest”). Much similarly to Devacurl... I don’t want to be negative but I do want to bring awareness and introduce those to this app to those who may not have heard about it!!! Unfortunately, even brands that advertise as “clean” can potentially have products that *could* cause long term damage, especially if using these products every wash. Check it out, do your own research, no judgement, just be informed!!! Also, I love you!!!

C VMA I looked for that video and I’m not sure if we saw the same one, but at the end of the day products/companies aren’t required to disclose what ingredients or even how many potential chemical combinations they use to create their “fragrance”. The app even includes this, but you can also find outside sources to validate that statement. Fragrance affecting the rating system is the main issue users have with the app. If the product is rated generally well in other categories then all you can do is assume that the combination of fragrances are safe. At the end of the day I would never judge someone for their personal care choices, but after what we’ve seen with companies like Devacurl It’s just a little scary to rely on assumptions. I remain open minded and thank you for your suggestion to explore others opinions, so I just wanted to offer another perspective. :)
