Yes, our fender flares are made of fiberglass. But before you think, "oh, then they'll just crack on the trail" ...well, watch this!

You guys had way too much fun testing that flare! My friend Alex bought one of your first sets of ZJ flares and I am looking at doing the same so I can go back to 4.5in springs. Thank you for resurrecting the design and being an honest shop, we all know how much of a pain those other guys were.

I have mine and am a little afraid to put them on by myself . Nothing worse than not having them lined up right . But they are as you claim undestructible .

Thanks Logan...I decided to keep the Wagon body lines stock..not going to have the tires too wide.
@logansmith42157 жыл бұрын
Storm Within something to do would be to make your own that look just like stock but taller and longer from front to back

But what if I don't want my flares to look like 96 and prior model? I like the rounder look on my 99.

What use are they if they don't stay on. Great if one buys them just for sliding down stairs and throwing them up in the air.

the flare itself, plenty strong, the mounting system. i break everytime i go wheeling on little tiny trees or other stuff i rub against that my stock flares held up to, then to fix the bolt i have to take the entire rear interior of my vehicle back out to fix the broken bolts. they look great and the fiberglass flare is fine, but again the mounting system is the downfall, i would rather have spent my 500$ on a tube bender and made my own.

update.. almost a year later.. bolts keep breaking off.. torture test all day on the flares. the mounting system has caused me hours upon hours upon hours of removal repair and re install...
@randyanderson61104 жыл бұрын
You would think for $600 that they wouldn't have dropped the ball and made the mounting system so cheap. Interesting that this guy doesn't address your issue. But then he got your money... good enough for him.

@NotchCustoms Has mounting changed over the last 7 years to improve fastener breakage? I was looking to get a set of these for my XJ, but further research has raised this concern with Notch flares on a couple of different forums. All posts are a few years old, though...
