It would need to be relatively painless to clean up, if one wished to. Like a tool that cleans a 3x3 block area in 1-3 clicks. I also liked the forest growth mod. Where trees would randomly toss out a sapling, that would grow, and spread the forest. Though, I could see how that would get annoying as well. But it was interesting to have.

If dyeing armor using a cauldron was added Mojang could add a paintbrush that would change color when damped into a cauldron (just by clicking on it) and would dye wool/concrete/terracotta in various colors.

There's a technical limitation problem here. Minecraft stores block data in an efficient manner that only allows one block to have at most 16 states, and there is a limit to how many blocks can be in the game. Letting you freely dye blocks would eat up a lot of that limit. Armor data is stored differently because the world isn't made of millions of armor pieces.

Mojang should pay attention to making some of notches dreams into a reality, since he *is* the creator. I want to see how entities like zombies or creepers would behave in the seasons. Or villagers may farm during to seasons, like autumn is mostly pumpkins. Since there are many biomes, they could do stuff as in having specific seasons for each biomes. Let's say jungle won't have snow, and the tundras would have blizzards Edit: if it turns out to be laggy, it can be put on in the settings

I think not having seasons actually enhances the minecraft experience™ because minecraft just feels like a place where time has kinda stopped. Sure, there are day and weather cycles, but without seasons, minecraft just feels surreal in a sense that nothing really changes naturally.

Honestly for me there were 2 major turning points, 1.8 and 1.13. The reason why I say 1.8 and NOT 1.9, the most controversial update to date, is because it was the first version to completely rip block ids from the game entirely. As well as this, blockhitting was removed, the piston animation was completely bugged, and the ability to use illegal items was removed, such as water, lava, and fire SOURCE BLOCKS, alpha leaves, etc. It really felt they were trying to remove any bugs, harmful or not. Now the second is 1.13 because it was the first truly “themed” update. 1.12 had this, sure, but from then on every update would have a very clear theme, like ocean, village, bees, nether, and cave. Beforehand, the game didn’t update with a theme nearly as big, such as the “exploration” update, which added things like observers and shulker boxes which were completely unrelated but still a massive deal. This is amplified the further back you go, to the point where the most miscellaneous additions with nothing in common were added, such as jack o’ lanterns, the nether, and basic biomes.

Aether dimension would be cool as opposite to the nether and i have an idea for it It would be 356 blocks in the sky,when u reach the limit of 256 you'll not be able to build anymore unless u use elytra and fly your way to it,the other method is creat an glowstone portal that is sandwiched between two end stone portal (the portal shape is exactly like the nether portal) and right click the glowstone portal with an eye of ender and the portal will activate to the aether dimension All the mobs there are neutral meaning they won't attack u unless u attack them and there will be a new boss called "the skyland king" and yadda yadda still a working progress but u get my point The thing is I'm a bit bored that MC doesn't have any new boss and dimensions soo yeah i like the idea of an Aether dimension

The land claim flag is a good idea. It would obviously be limited so that one player couldn't grief by claiming an entire server. It would work similar to the tool cupboard in Rust, and PREVENT players from grieving bases or stealing from other players.

The thing I really want is filter hopper, it has twelve bars 6x2 where on the top row you place the item to filter and it unlocks the corresponding slot for the same items. Naming the item will affect the leak as well.

The seasons should be added as a world type, like how in the alpha stages there was a chance to spawn in a world that would just have snow over everything, and so people who don't want to play with seasons or with just one or two can change it in a menu.

The game did have premade maps, hell it had premade texture packs. In minecraft for the Xbox 360, we could buy or use a trial version of minecraft maps, they came with custom worlds that used the texture packs in extraordinary ways.

Tbh this wouldve been one of the worst things to happen to the game. It seems like a good idea on paper but really this ruins caves, any mining that doesnt work in a quarry, trees wouldve lost leaves, overhanging cliffs would fall off the sides of mountains when updated, floating islands would just fall. Flying devices (and alot of redstone devices in general) wouldve been impossible. This wouldve been a deathblow to the game for sure. Also just thought of this. MC can have a hard enough time running well when crazyamou ts of sands and gravel update at once already. Could you imagine how bad it would be if you mined a single block at a low level, or placed a single block in a cave and the entire thing just decided "well imma update now" and the game crashed. Ngl for as much credit as Notch deserves for all that he did for this game hes implemented and attempted to implement some really downer mechanics that dont seem to have any real payoff.

I love the ideas of seasons. But they would be difficult because seasons are very different in different hemispheres. I think if they had a feature where you could choose seasons you'd like similar to how you can choose the time of day, or toggle seasons on and off, or make it to where you could have one season to make for example a winter themed creative world except you wouldn't have to be in certain biomes you could be in a forest, or say a plains biome.

There's a mod that adds seasons that change how many blocks act depending on the season and it's honestly a must-have mod for me

The gravity idea would be cool. Especially with the special block being something that holds it up. So for example, anything within a 3x3x3 area around an obsidian block won't fall. I think it'd be cool as a mechanic.

I'd like to see more dynamic weather, something in between heavy rain and no rain? Like a little drizzle, perhaps localized rainfronts that you can see move to and from you. Also natural weather like fog, hail, duststorms in appropriate biomes, perhaps dust devils and tornadoes that can toss blocks up from the ground.

They could make more weather instead of seasons. Defreant biomes have defrant storms like sandstorms and snow storms. rain in deserts could be so rare that a rare plant spawns only during the rain used for a special potion. And rain looks defrant and has defrant effects opon the land. Like it could create water streams or half slab water puddles.

it would've been really challenging but interesting for seasons to have been implemented in my opinion mainly because seasons affect crops and such, so you would be scowering (is that the right spelling??? lol) across your whole world just finding seasonal seeds for your farm plus, you would have to build like-- barns and coops just to keep your animals warm and in good shape during the winter or maybe spring i dont know but it was just a wild realization and idea when i saw the seasons part lol i've been playing too many farm games :''^))

I think seasons are the biggest missed opportunity this game has. I think a mode where terrain generation only creates a few basic biomes and then applies seasons to it would be cool but I doubt this would be a thing in the near future

Maybe for seasons maybe in settings you can select what season you start with when you spawn maybe some areas are all in one season like mountains always have snow
