@0:00 Intro
@0:42 NotcHead 5500 AN Wrench Insert Kit, $44.96
www.summitracing.com/parts/nt...
@3:20 -10 Insert in Hand
@3:52 AN Wrenches
-My most recent pickup was the ICT Wrenches
@4:10 Older AN Wrenches
-My old Summit ones have served me well for years, but have taken some battle scars
@4:53 Gedore L-Boxx
-This setup has AN/PTFE fittings and test stuff
@5:50 Need Multiple Wrenches
-You have options...more dedicated, AN adjustable, pliers wrench with soft inserts, etc.
@6:35 Friction Fit Omen
@7:00 Test Fit Findings
-3 AN @7:20 = 9/16" Wrench
-4 AN @7:55 11/16" Wrench
-6 AN @9:28 13/16" Wrench
-3/4" @10:35 7/8" Wrench
-8 AN @12:00 1 1/16" Wrench
-10 AN @16:07 1 3/16" Wrench
@19:15 Pliers Wrench Test Fit
-While this is an option, it is cumbersome and defeats the purpose of buying standalone wrench inserts. You are better off using soft jaw inserts in this scenario
@20:40 Adjustable Wrench Test Fit
-This works and is probably a safer option than the pliers wrench, but it again defeats the purpose of shelling out for standalone non-mar inserts
--Just as well buy an AN adjustable
@24:10 -3 Fitment
-This one seems to fit well across the board
@26:00 Angle Wrench
-This would be a really good scenario for the non-mar inserts...angle wrenches might get the job done easier than standard wrenches
@28:45 Great Concept + Shortcomings
-These are a great idea, but leave a bit to be desired in form factor and fitment
--I've got a wide variety of wrenches...I'm not sure what these were designed around...it could be a case of the manufacturer being too generous and attempting to accommodate to many wrench designs. It is also unfortunate with some of the selected wrench sizes.
@31:20 Fitting Test Fit
@34:45 Better Option
-Pliers Wrench with Soft Jaws (Gedore or Knipex)
@32:30 Recap
@33:20 Standalone
-If you only deal in smaller sizes, getting them standalone might be a better option
--Getting a standalone 1 1/16" and 1 3/16" wrench to use these larger fittings would be expensive and you could get another AN Wrench Set, or Pliers Wrench + Soft Jaws for less money
