Hi. Im not sure if you will read this. I have a quick question. Could you let me know much max temp should i use to heat up the phone to and for how long to remove the lcd from frame. I have to remove the lcd from the frame without demaging or burning the lcd display as i want to use it on other frame. Please help!

just ordered my part without frame. all the other videos on yourtube showed how to do it with the frame and i was scared without frame would be harder but it seems easier only pain is the glue and thats not that hard.

You can, we also use packing tape, or you could use rubber bands.

I have an iFixit kit and have done countless phone, laptop and other repairs. Never have I ever needed a different tool. Lock Tite is easy to remove, and you should really buy some gloves instead of using a shamwow. :/ Come on, man. This is weak "buy my stuff" begging.

Exactly! And he was so careless with the screen removal and placement too. Had he not noticed the digitizer cable being connected while he tore off the screen, he could have damaged the connecter itself! I found myself cringing throughout the video. The talk about people being amateurs didn't help either.

It really depends on how hot you are heat pad goes, I used a different one and 200°F was good enough

That is not as easy as it looks for a first timer. You must heat the phone for 30 or more seconds use a hair dryer of heat gun.😊
