Horus mentioned by named in a video goes crazy. Actual game looks... passable? Functional? The loredump at the video's start was more engaging than any mechanic you discussed.

Let's face it, when it comes to 5e hacks, any drama behind the scenes is likely to be way more interesting than talking about the mechanics yet again.

I think Everyday Heroes should put out a FATAL: Modern supplement. What could possibly go wrong?

Hmm, Notepad has a new video on that -scam- RPG attached to a bunch of IPs I saw a couple years back that was so obviously a -scam- lemon I didn't even bother looking into it. 'CEO' has a background in Marketing at Amazon you say.... Well that makes sense...

Honestly the sourcebooks are the only reason I even give this game a look. I have the Total Recall, Highlander, Universal Soldier, and Escape from New York books and they're a lot of fun- I'd just take the concepts and apply them to another game that's more versatile... but I do like the idea of that Mastermind class.

Never been fan of EG games, and never will be. Consider this an official discommendation of anything with their brand on it.

This game is one of the better 5e system RPGs made that doesn't require you needing the D&D books.

@@NotepadAnon You really should. It ain't flawless, but it's trying a lot harder than EH and as a bonus, doesn't have the nasty techbro scammer connections in its business history.

Have they fixed all the damn typos and other errors yet? The 2e core book is riddled with them, of which te unusable/just missing schticks are probably the most annoying. Because I'm sticking with 1e until they do. Hell, I might stick with even if they do clean that mess up. The current timeline is lame compared to the 1e version, especially for fans of the old Architects of the Flesh and not-irredeemably-awful Jammers. Still better than Everyday d20 5e Moderns, though.

After a decade of 5E I can comfortably say I don’t need another 5E game. 5E was an alright system but I think I’ve extracted every ounce of fun I can possibly experience from it.

I've been looking at Everyday Heroes with mild interest (more than I can say for a lot of ttrpgs) in an attempt to recreate Jin-Roh but on tabletop, but the feats did annoy me, and you NAILED IT by saying it reminds you of pf2e, because that's the feeling I get when looking at EH feats. I don't like pf2e. At all. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
@richmcgee4346 күн бұрын
Take a look at Outgunned as an alternative. Still might not be for you, but I thought it did a better job of doing what EH did.
