Hi Terry, I purchased your ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS 2024 books. When will the E//M 2024 book be available? Thank you for writing these books ❤

Hello for the bypass section for table 021 can you explain the correction note?
@tropinsmedicalcodingmadeea75515 ай бұрын
See Guidelines for Medical and Surgical Section, B3 Root operations, Bypass procedures, B3.6b. The body part is number of coronary arteries is bypassed to, qualifier is vessel bypassed from. This is the opposite of the guidelines for other bypass procedures. There is an example following the guidelines.
I will admit coding for the Medical and Surgical section is kind of a pain since you have to look through so many anatomical areas, but coding from Obstetrics and down is almost "I can do this in my sleep" easy.

Ob is easier since it is only a couple of pages. If you write the definitions in it’s really straightforward. Hope the video helped
