Hi Becky, it's a beautiful hack! Lovely fabric, it's nice to see it in a drapey fabric. The skirts lovely too xx

What a fantastic idea Becky for your hack. I’ve made a Stevie but not worn it as I feel it’s too big, so I’m going to revisit it and maybe wear it back to front 😻

Yey pleased you like my hack ideas. I think using a more floaty fabric works well with the stevie particularly if you wanted to wear the bow on the front 😊💕

Notes from the Sewing Room just tried it on back to front and it looks so much better. My fabric is quite stiff and just made the standard bow, but I still like it. Agree a floater fabric would look great with a longer tie. Thanks so much as I’d almost relegated mine to the scrap heap😹😻

Loved your hacked Stevie! I made mine but it turned out huge and too short so I didn't make it again. Could you please explain how you did the v neck as I think it makes the dress/top look so much better and I'd like to make it again but use your hack x
@NotesfromtheSewingRoom4 жыл бұрын
Thank you 🙂 I turned the stevie top around so the original back was the front . I then extended the neck tie which works well in a softer floaty fabric. I used a lightweight crepe. I hope that helps 🙂💕

@@NotesfromtheSewingRoom Sorry to be a pain but I think I'm doing something wrong! I tried on my Stevie dress made a few months ago and the front with the ties just doesn't hang right around the neck. Did you do something different with yours because I have fabric flapping around!
