I've never had issues with them, first game play I got to New Vegas by going north, skirted around death claw junction, I did have to keep running since they ate so much ammo at lv 1. Hit their wings run, but the "and stay back" and other shotgun perks were great. But requires lv 10 of course I didnt know how lucky I was to get there so fast

honestly, the DLC wasn't "laugh out loud" funny, but it's such a change of pace from the humor in the rest of the game that i kind of loved it. it's just silly and absurd, which is exactly what i think the dlc before lonesome road needs. you go from the big mt's penis jokes to ulysses' pseudo-philosophical ramblings.

Hey bro. I strongly recommend the Viva new vegas wabbajack install/guide to basically just grab all the performance and bug fix mods and fix up a bunch of bugs and minor cut content. It automatically installs and doesn't have any weird stuff or change the way the game looks or feels or anything it just makes the game run better, crash less, and overall be less glitchy/laggy. It's a great base if you want to mod further, but it's super stable and functional if you don't - it just hurts to see you lagging more than my ridiculously over-modded setup because you don't have a few of the fixes.

My all time favorite DLC, probably not for everyone but if you are a fan of MST3K and things like the Rocky Horror Picture Show etc it will probably connect with you. I find the discussions Ulysses had with the Think Tank fascinating and the actions of Dr. Mobius heroic, and the sink is probably my favorite player home across any Fallout title.
