genuinely I have to tell you this. I am so happy that I finally found your channel again. a year and a half ago I was in the hospital after a huge mental break. I was so sad and depressed I don’t even know how to even describe it. I had covid so I had to stay in a room for 2 weeks isolated so sometimes they gave me an iPad to watch stuff because there was really nothing for me to do. I couldn’t talk to my family and at that point I had shut literally all of my friends out because of how depressed I was. In this time I found your videos and I watched every single one. I don’t think you understand how much you helped me get through that time. It was genuinely the hardest time of my life and your videos became an escape for me. The way you are is so simple and so calm and it just ah. I genuinely cannot thank you enough. You inspired me to keep going. I wrote your name down so I’d remember but then I lost the paper. For so long I have tried to find your channel again. I literally thought I imagined it nothing would come up. For so so long. I could never find it and today I did. I am so happy to watch all of the videos that I have missed. You really need to know that you have helped me so so much and you really are doing a great thing. Keep doing what you are doing, thank you.

Life has been hella transitional for me the last 4-5 years. I said years ago that everything in life is temporary, but this ish has been the message of my life the last few years. It’s been rough AF because I like for things to stay the same, but I also realize that in order for me to grow, embracing change is necessary. 4 years ago, I had to make one of the toughest decisions in terms of quitting a job that I had worked since being a teenager. It was a tough but necessary decision. I’m actually in the process right now of making another difficult decision (2 of them actually). However, when I realize how short life is and how fast it goes, I realize that I have to do what’s best for me no matter what. Your video confirms where I’m at in my life and where I’ve been the last 4-5 years. Everything in life is temporary. Good to see you on my timeline!

this came on a really great time. when you published the video, i watched it without the whole focus & presence which i’m having now while watching it for the second time. i think the whole video is really relatable for me during the journey i am going through, and at the same time it calms me down. it also gives me more of the feeling that we really are never ”ready” and we’re learning things all the time. maybe making same mistakes again but thinking about them more as a lesson and a thing that belongs to life. some people just learns from the first mistake & some people needs more time to realize things. this is absolutely a beautiful piece in your yt-channel. thank you

this is a beautiful video, thank you.❤ i especially relate to the part about nostalgia-while nothing lasts forever, we can also take comfort from the fact that anything we experience will continue to be part of our past, forever and ever. and while it’s not always healthy to be existing in the past mentally, we know that a fundamental property of the universe is that time only goes one way, entropy only increases, and so anything or anyone that has ever been part of our life, can never truly be taken away from us.

You’re absolutely right. That’s why it’s important to embrace and value every moment you get. Never take nothing for granted and embrace the present. We truly don’t acknowledge the things around us we get so consumed by the constant "stimulus" of everything around us. People need to just put down their phone for a second and appreciate what’s in front of them. Removing all my socials and disconnecting myself from the virtual world as much as I can has truly shifted my perspective on reality and altered my perception on reality for the better. I’ve truly drawn closer to God and started appreciating the relationships with my love ones. Anyways keep up the content it’s unique and much love to you!! ❤

this anticipation of loss actually prevents us from experiencing the thing - whatever it is - in the first place... isn't that insanely ironic? i'd rather bear the pain of loss than the unresolvable pain of regret and missed opportunity, at least in the former case i can look back on something that made me happy for that moment in time and be grateful for the value it provided there's, at the very least, something concrete to appreciate, whereas in the case of avoidance all you can do is ponder and ruminate on possibilities... 'what if?', 'could've', 'should've', 'i wish', and so on... it's so nauseating.

welcome back!! hope youre doing okay! this knowledge is so important and it really helped me, ive felt so free since I managed to stop chasing certain feelings, I think a lot of us (young people) can crave the simple feeling of solid ground beneath our feet, but life just doesn't work like that. things can only be special because they're temporary!

You have such a way with words! Even though I praise myself on my reflecting abilities, I don't think could put my thoughts into words as beautifully and clearly as you do! Ps: even though I've been procrastinating that second video for months now because every task feels so huge at the moment + I'm a chronic perfectionist, you're a huge inspiration for my channel, both visually and reflective...ly (?). I never thought anyone would be interested in hearing what I had been reflecting on, let alone believing there'd be like-minded people out there, and so, I've always felt like the odd one out, but watching your videos feels like a warm hug in winter season. 🫂 Keep making us reflect with you 💞

*Reminiscing on all the heartaches and fleeting pleasures of life* 2:35 Little girl being murdered in the background 😲😲😲 On a real note, this is really beautiful. I think these are feelings that are not talked about openly, but we all have them throughout our lives. I'm scared of dating and making friends because I know 95% of those relationships will not be permanent. Even though I can acknowledge the things I've lost in the past as beautiful for what they were, it doesn't make losing them any less painful. I'm in my 20's now and to this day, I still think about my amazing friends that I had in the 5th grade who I never saw again after that summer. Memories become fuzzier over time but I don't think we ever truly stop loving and longing for our old lives, friends and lovers. I will always love my 5th grade friends and that crazy ex I broke up with 7 years ago. You just have to learn to live with the pain of change.

It was one of the best decisions I ever made and your videos about this topic played a huge role in me coming to the conclusion that it was finally time for me to leave these platforms once and for all after months of deleting, re downloading and deleting the apps again and again . What you said in your videos led me to reflect deeply on my daily use of technology and my relationship with media in general. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us! Hello, thanks for this video. I wanted to bring another perspective on the issue As much as I agree with you, I also think on the contrary we should not always be seeking constant change. There are some things we have to let go, but constantly changing everything in your life, seeking something new, out of yourself each time, will not cure the problem. I think certain things are meant to be for life. I know that my childhood friend will be for life, and even if we do not see each other or talk to each other, he will still be close to my heart. Also certain activities, specific musics, my intuition is telling me it will be for eternity. But maybe it's just me. Maybe i'm just boring. My point is that we should create a balance. I feel like change is good but we change too often in this modern world. For example relationships, people stay together for a very limited amount of time, than they just break up and seek something new, constantly. But we do not bring any depth to our experiences and we do no let ourselves the time to reflect and grow. Do not just consume new experiences like it's a new product you just bought. Grow, do not be afraid to change, but keep the few things that are close to your heart and cherish them. If something genuinely fulfills you, there is no reason to stop. I just wanted to put this little message here because I feel like we are much closer to a population prone to extreme novelty-seeking (neophilia), caused by social media and the glorification of new things (new insta posts when travelling or anything), than we are to a population that is fixed in time and stuck in the same patterns. Both are bad to me. May love and light guide you.
