As a user of phone 1, who used both android phones and iphones before, I suggest you do not look to buy, wait for another 2-3 big releases of Nothing products. If really want to switch from apple to google, buy pixel, pixel more polished then any from Nothing. In the long term run, pixel phone is much better - data, os, battery, you name it.

I think nothing should add security features like - password required for power off - restrict quick settings access from the lock screen - and its own media player for the lock screen these features are also available in basic phones, so we can definitely expect from nothing. I'll be happy to see them in any patch updates in future.

I love the general aesthetic of my Nothing phone but you guys gotta keep the design language consistent - some features are Google stock, some are Nothing, some are this weird uncustomizable in-between design. I am a Nothing Phone 1 user, and I absolutely dislike the fact that features available in other models are missing in the Phone 1, even with updates. If the stable update also fails to deliver improvements-such as 2x portrait mode, vivid mode, lens switch in video, and selfie video stabilization-this will be my last Nothing product. I will never purchase anything from Nothing again. We trusted their first product, the Phone 1, and yet, we are now being treated partially. This is completely unacceptable, especially because Phone 1 users are typically tech enthusiasts who carefully evaluate every aspect. It's frustrating to see that we are not receiving the updates we deserve

I love how far Nothing has come. I loved my Phone 1 and the 2a is even better. I have ran Nothing OS 3.0 beta since the first and it has been an amazing experience. I casn't wait for the official release. I see it is out, but nothing for me so far, either way awesome to see the progress from Nothing OS 1.0 to 3.0 is nothing short of astounding. I sold my Pixel 8 Pro I loved my 2a so much!

@@riishith I didn't use the camera much, the battery life sucked on the 8 Pro. Side by side depending what you were doing the 2a was faster. Even when installing system updates or apps. The 2a is just really snappy and consistent all round and the user interface is really easy on the eyes. If you don't play games or need an amazing camera, the 2a is better than the 8 Pro and for productivity in long term loads I know the 2a can outperform the 8 Pro because it doesn't throttle. The signal is outstanding in Scotland on the 2a on the O2 Network, better than the 8 Pro and leagues ahead of the iPhone which struggles to get 5G anywhere in my town when the 2a gets it absolutely everywhere. Solid phone, no complaints.

Try turning off Ultra XDR in Camera app settings and turn off HDR while taking photos. Also check if your display color settings is set to 'Standard' and not 'Alive', that may also be the cause of camera contrast issues.

Dear Nothing Team, I hope you're doing well. I wanted to share a couple of suggestions to enhance the scrolling experience on your devices, which could be implemented through a software update. The first suggestion is regarding the touch and scroll interaction. Currently, when we swipe on the screen, it stops rather abruptly. It would greatly improve the user experience if, with a light touch, the screen could glide smoothly and gradually come to a stop, instead of halting immediately. This would create a more fluid interaction, similar to how it feels on iOS devices, where the content continues to move for a while before gently slowing down and stopping on its own. Secondly, I believe adding a bounce-back effect at the end of scrollable content would significantly enhance the overall look and feel. This effect, combined with smooth transitions and animations, would make scrolling more engaging and polished, providing immediate feedback to the user without being too harsh or mechanical. Incorporating these features via a software update would elevate the scrolling experience and make interactions feel more refined and seamless.
