Hey guys, you can ALIGN trailer wheels by bending the axle. They usually come from the factory with the upward bend in the middle. Depending on where that bend is located in a clock position will pitch the tires in out up or down. If you can rotate the axle. Otherwise take it to a body shop and they should be able to bend it as needed. I had the same problem with my trailer wearing tires out quickly. After bending my axle a little bit, they don’t wear at all now. Best of luck to you guys. You are a cute couple.

I live in the Houston area and every fresh water lake Ive been to has those huge clams in it. I've never got a clear answer on whether or not you can eat them. Also, in a river near my house there are 4-6 foot alligator gars in the water. Its actually a fishing destination where they have guided tours for catching humongous gars. Ive swam around those my whole life and Ive never been bothered by one, us natives don't even think about them being around when we swim. I'm more on the lookout for water moccasins! I'm glad you guys had a great time!

Glad to see you up and posting some great content ! That is some beautiful country and so much wildlife too ! If I may give some advise being a trailer owner myself, getting the u bolts fixed was a great idea, but you may want to get those leaf springs changed out too. Ask me how I know ?? LOL..... If one does ever break on you and it's on the forward mounting hole, just take it off and spin it around, find a piece of wood for the trailing end to keep it spaced from the frame, it will get you out of trouble for a few miles. Safe travels !

All the orange street lights came on because it was like nightime, due to the mile thick ash cloud. I wound up in the veterans hospital from choking on that ash. What a crazy day, 44 years ago.

New subscriber watching all your old videos. Loving what you do... I just watched your Cherokee Bigfoot and Fontana videos. They made me realize I know of a story right up your alley: it's a twisted tale of wildlife biology, politics and government conspiracy -- red wolves in the Smokey Mountain Park. You'll do your own research, as you do so well, but the short version was 1) red wolves stocked in park, 2) they left the park and ate livestock, 3) park trapped them "all", declared experiment a failure, 4) later admitted that there were populations "hiding" on the park all along, 5) now claims the only red wolves are in one zoo and on one island in the outer banks. But.... You can see the tracks on the north shore Fontana (especially when the persimmons are ripe) and hear them howl at night. The park would have you believe they are 90 pound coyotes with wolflike vocals. IMO, this is how they are escaping the headache and liability (see Yellowstone NP troubles)... By claiming that if there is ANY coyote blood in the animal, it is not a red wolf. End of political problem for the park. Yet you'll find in some sources that ALL red wolves (even the official ones in the NC zoo) have coyote blood. I live in NE Georgia and have heard two wolves here (my assumption) running with coyote packs so they are probably spreading. I think something similar is happening with Mexican Grey Wolves in the desert southwest. We saw one in New Mexico, one in southern California, and heard them in Oklahoma, where they aren't supposed to be. If you're still with this looong post, one more thing: the deer and turkey populations in southern Appalachia are 100x what they were 50 years ago. Wouldn't it make biological sense that a predator would evolve to hunt this "new" bounty? And wouldn't the crossing of coyotes and wolves be a fast track to such evolution? An 80 pound pack hunter that can bring down big game (wolf blood) who can live right under human noses (coyote blood) -- perfect. Do your own research -- this was written from my increasingly sketchy memory.
@HoofRehab5 ай бұрын
If you decide to pursue this story, at the SMNP island campsite (reservations required) up in the river run of Fontana, during persimmon season all of the tracks are canine (both the 30 pound kind and the 90 pound kind) there are zero bear tracks in spite of the spot having dozens of persimmon trees. I have assumed that the canines keep the bears run out of this area? Anyway that is a great campsite to explore this story. The island is also a whippoorwill strutting/mating spot, which makes for VERY interesting evenings when they are breeding. Also, if you climb the ridge above 300 yards, there is a cool old home place that is off the grid -- no hiking trail to it
@CandEAdventures5 ай бұрын

We are in about a 4 year drought and although the west side of San Antonio got around 3" of rain yesterday, our reservoirs are way way down. Our primary aquifer for the greater San Antonio region is down about 35 ft to its historic average so you are seeing the impact down at Amistad. My understanding is the farmers say the Mexicans are not releasing enough water per the treaty but I am not an expert to know who is right. I am pleased to see you back in Texas. Enjoy yourself. Head over to Corpus and go out on the barrier sand dunes and islands.
