Chuck, "Please don't mess around with teeth", the pain you may be experiencing is a dangerous indicator. Pain meds are not the solution. Antibiotics are recommended. Please seek professional care. You are too valuable to lose to something stupid. Best wishes to you, and your lovely wife. I'm not joking. There's a multitude of bad things that can result from "tooth aches". No reason to jeopardize your health. Be well my friend! I'm not a dentist, but a scientist, and a friend.

Chuck, just saw the flood warnings for the Mekong provinces. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family. Hopefully this does not impact you. I recall you saying no flooding of the Mekong in your area since Paige was a youngster. Hopefully this will still be the case. 🙏🏻🤞👍🏻

So…that town seems very nice. And as others have mentioned…Kurt (?) does make a great pizza from the looks of it. But , what stood out most for me, is how nice the roads and sidewalks look. Nice and level without much obstruction. The streets actually look like tile…lot of work….ok thanks for sharing…😊

Phimai's a nice quiet getaway. I stay in Phimai Paradise Hotel and can recommend Ida Eatery about 2 mins walk from there (service is a bit crap, but the food's excellent, especially the stir fried chicken with cashews), and the moo kata next door to it. Not a bad little "steakhouse" (looks more like a greenhouse!) on the road heading towards Lotus too.

And Lampang is famous for the Thai ceramics industry which is why the sidewalks and pavement are nicely designed.

yeah its a crap flooding by the looks of it... (ok don't know what a good flooding is) but you get my meaning... but even with all our tech and knowledge all we can do is run/move/drive when mother nature says..... MOVE!!!! :( I hope not much damage. keep on keepin' on :)
