The Prajaktra is a good hotel and great value. I stayed there last year for a couple of nights. I was there on a Friday night and the outdoor bar on the top floor was very busy and a lot of fun. Thoroughly enjoyed this video and of course your other ones. Thanks Chuck ……… and Paige ……

Vegemite isnt a jam, its a salty spread for toast or bread or even with crackers n cheese. its made from left over brewing yeast. If you spread it to thick, it will be too strong. Vegemite can also be used in stew. Just put in a tea spoon or two.

Nice video. Thanks for sharing. I hope you had fun in my childhood city of Udon Thani. Bring back old memories. I used to swim in the lake (Nong Prachak) when I was growing up and attended Don Bosco School. Next time try Nam Nueng Vietnamese restaurant on Pho Si Road and also try Centara hotel which is close to the train station with many eating joints.

First the hotel for B 1000 looked good value for the price. The Vegimite, while good for you as for VB, you will likely not like the taste. The price I saw as B 174 and that is about same here in Bangkok where I pay around B165. Good video as usual. Happy travels.
@tonyh68464 жыл бұрын
Hmm it is a toss up to whether or not you will like the Vegemite, us Australians grow up with it and sometimes some Marmite. Most Aussies love Vegemite and we do crave it when it it is not accessible over a period of time :).

Udon!!!! Thailand for people who don't cope too well with major culture shock. That's why I go. Usually stay in the Santipran, but would probably go for SP House - just south of the Po Sri Road - next time. If you've never been to Thailand Udon - with parks, UD Town, railway, airport, supermarkets and cheap accommodation - is an easy option.

HEY CHUCK AND PAIGE, UDON IS A NICE CITY BUT I'VE ONLY BEEN THERE A COUPLE OF TIMES. LAST TIME I WENT TO THE VILLA MARKET BUT I WAS NOT THAT IMPRESSED. I DIDN'T HIND ANYTHING THERE THAT I COULDN'T GET IN KORAT. KIND OF DISAPPOINTED. I'M ALMOST READY TO TAKE OFF FOR THAILAND. JUST 4 MORE DAYS. I WILL BE SO HAPPY TO GET OFF OF THAT PLANE AND BASK IN THE SUN ONCE AGAIN. I AM SO TIRED OF BEING COLD ALL OF THE TIME. I THINK I CAN HANDLE THE HOT WEATHER MUCH EASIER THAN THE COLD. SEE YOU GUYS SOON.

Gidday, Vegemite is best described as condensed soy sauce. Extremely salty. It is great on bread or toast with butter or cheese to cut back the salt. It is condensed, so a little bit will do, NOT LIKE SPREADING JAM. This is the reason most Americans do not like it. If used in small amounts with butter, it is the food of the gods.

About.6-7 years ago, the giant yellow duck in the lake decided to get off of the .lake and wipe all motorbikes parking .nearby to fall down.
