Once again, thank you for another Sunday video. WoW! Feature-length this time, I'm lovin' it! Enjoyed a nice Ethiopia Bensa through the Clever Dripper, acidity is usually a little on the high side for Ethiopians, but they're balanced by ample sweetness and complexity of flavours. For expresso, or Americano in my case, I don't usually use Ethiopia beans, acidity's too high for my liking. I've recently got a bag of Rwanda Lake Kivu, so origin would be close to where Good Brothers obtained the beans for their Congo Kivu. Been pulling some shots with it and turns out that I really like it. Sweet berries, plums and chocolate with an earthy complexity. Acidity is just enough to keep it bright and refreshing. Love the Vero Amber glasses mate! Yes indeed, nature's power is absolutely humbling. Makes you realise how small each of us are in the grand scheme of things... Until next Sunday, keep well and have a fabulous week!

@jowyong6769 Hey buddy, hope all is well. Well, you've probably heard me rave about the Kongo Kivu here many times. For straight shots of espresso is hard to beat. A beautiful classic taste, with a berry tartness upfront 💯. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Your comment means a lot to me, more than you can imagine. Thank you. Take care my friend, and have a beautiful day.

Thank you for the travel video! It’s especially when you visit the local shops or have an area coffee to review. I am a New Yorker that moved to Florida that is a Californian at heart, so it was really nice to see! I had to stop at 1:01 because I couldn’t handle the single old man completely convincing you that climate change is fake (although, in defense, I think that lake is purposely maintained at low levels), so if you had any pearls at the end I’ll miss them. But keep the videos long and keep them as YOUR voice, even if not everyone agrees with every opinion every time. That’s life! Thank you as always!

@urbanreade Thank you for your comment, it means the world to me to get to know you guys. I hate to impose, but if you don't mind, perhaps you can tell me your name so that moving forward I don't keep referring to you as @urbanreade However, I understand if you don't answer. Thank you for watching. I look forward to the conversations every Sunday with you guy's, probably more than you can imagine. ( By the way, I don't think climate change is fake. Maybe you should see it to the end. The important message is to not allow it to OVERWHELM you to the point that you can't even enjoy a cup of coffee). Sometimes I feel that my Sister is affected in that way, and it makes me sad. I just hope that my KZbin coffee family is not being affected to that extent. Thank you for your support my friend. Take care, have a wonderful day, and a great week ahead. 🤗

@OmnielCapote Yes, you’re so right about that! There’s so many issue that are serious and should concern us but are definitely overwhelmed in the media that if you listened to it all, you’d just sit in the house never doing anything. Mindfulness and care and getting through the noise are what’s important so I will watch to the end. Thank you for taking the time to reply. My name is Josh, btw! Reade is the name I’ve always used when I play games so it became my KZbin handle too! 😂

@urbanreade Great to know you Josh. I mean it when I say that, getting to know you guys is my favorite part, and the reason why I make the videos.

Glass ordered! Lol! I think I told you that I grew up partially in Monterey so Fresno is super close, but I don't remember spending as much time there as I would have liked. I have got to go back home and check out some of the locations you visited. Kup of Joy looks SUPER cool! I've never had a swan in my mug that was awesome to see!

Good morning Omniel: Beautiful views... Thanks. Sadly I strongly agree with your comments about our media exaggerating virtually everything in order to push their views/opinions upon us. I firmly believe our climate is changing, but I also know that it has been changing for centuries. Mankind probably does effect the change, but I don't believe we have a tremendous amount of influence overall. I also don't think what we can do here in the U.S. will help or hurt too much, because we are only a very small part of the overall world population and pollution is far worse in most every other country. We've been to virtually all the National parks in the Southwest and the Giant Sequoia's are a beauty to uphold. They do generally survive fires because of their thick bark and extreme height. Plus they can actually benefit from forest fires. The heat causes their cones to open and release new seeds to grow new trees in the future. I'm very fortunate to have been able to travel as much as I have so far in my lifetime and I do wish everyone could have the opportunity to personally see all the beauty that our country has to offer. Take care my friend and I'm already looking forward to next Sunday's edition 🙂 Kerry PS: I'm about out of coffee beans so I just placed an order for four new bags of different coffee beans from September earlier this morning.

@kerrycoyle8930 Hello Kerry. I totally agree with your comments. I hope you enjoyed the video, I was very excited for this one, and I think it showed. Hopefully I left everyone with a warm feeling inside, and a smile. That for me, it's enough, and makes it all worth it. Take care my friend, have a wonderful day, and a great week ahead. 🤗

Americans seemed to have lost trust and confidence in their mainstream media. Years ago I stopped reading newspapers or watching TV news as I found they didn't contribute to my life in any meaningful way. So I'm probably not the best person to discuss politics or the environment with, but if you are up for a laugh over a coffee, I'm your man.

1h 16Min. ?! This is going out of hand… But I would recommend changing your mind about extraction time. If you use preinfusion, try a quick fill (paddle fully open), shut the flow as soon as pressure builds. Full flow, then declining pressure until you reach your yield. Extraction time should be 25s+. For medium roasts 35s is usually great. Light roast, are good between 40-45s. But 54s for a medium roast is definitely not the best. Try a different approach!

@rkytr.2765 Hello friend. I have explained about my water temperature many times, I believe that's the driving factor of my approach. However, I will try your recipe and report back. I know, this video's length got a bit out of hand 😅. Again, thank you so much for your comment, I really appreciate it. Take care, and have a wonderful day.
