I once had a game against a spirit, and the literal second we loaded in someone disconnected. My two other teammates (Yui and Felix) were really good and took all of the chase while I did most of the gens because I was newer to the game at the time. At the very end I got downed in the exit gate and hooked right outside of it But Instead of leaving, Felix ran all the way across the map to save me getting downed in the process, the spirit then went after me I got downed in the exit gate (again) but used DS to escape. I thought we were lucky on a two man out, but apparently hatch spawned right next to Felix even with the spirit right next to him. Be more like chad Felix.

Then BHVR might actually focus on the high tier threats, like Trapper and Pig. They need to make it so the Trapper and the Pigs traps have a 25% to be defective and do nothing. Then the game will finally be perfectly balanced, like all things should be.

I am always so happy if I have pro teammates who can loop the killer, I'll do my best to crank aaaalll the gens. But most times I get found first in these situations and die because I am crap at looping, then the other person dies too. :

I did the same thing but with 3 gens and a feng. I was playing leon and we both alternated looping the killer, with the other doing gens. Feng did get downed once but I was able to flashbang save and we eventually got out somehow. It was against a baby spirit though and she didn't have as much understanding of her power, just tunneling the weaker players.

The Leon on Mother's dwelling actually had the very strong perk called DC, it's similar to DS but it gets you out of the killer's grasp every time without requiring a skillcheck. Drawback is it reduces your bloodpoints gained by 100%.

Back years ago, my friend and I were in a game where our other two teammates left. So it was just two of us versus a bubba. We took turns taking agro and somehow managed to do all 5 gens and escape. Thinking back on it the bubba was probably trash but it's still a fun memory.

The problem with games like this and e.g. Dota, LoL etc. is that often people are playing as a group on comms and the advantage is absolutely enormous even if they're not taking it 100% seriously if you're playing solo

Yesterday I played against insidiuos Bubba. First person that he caught DCd, then second person that he caught Dcd too. I looped him for a while and the last survivor - Dwight didn't hide in the corner waiting for me to die, he completed 3 gens in that time. Sadly Bubba got me, but I admire that Dwight. The way Dead Man's Switch works is that when the killer hooks someone it becomes active for 35-45s, if you let go of a gen in that time then it gets blocked. You only see the DMS icon if you get a gen blocked, not immediately when it becomes active. Which is pretty annoying because it lasts a REALLY long time (especially if your teammates are getting chain hooked like a bunch of dummies) and it's hard to keep track of whether it's expired or not.

They looked at the reasons bbq and self-care were being played. BBQ was mostly played for the bloodpoints, and not for the tactical advantage, so they removed the bp bonus. Self-care was mostly a good-on-paper independence perk that tempts weaker players into sandbagging. They gutted the perk so that players wouldn't use it to sandbag anymore. Wiser players will run other perks, like inner strength perhaps, to heal much quicker.

the worst DC chaos i ever had was literally the first 20 seconds into a game, i find a hex and it was haunting ground. Moments after i get it my ENTIRE Team would just DC. and the Deathslinger got me and hooked me. Rewatching that clip i made i hadn't realized the friggin hatch opened up right next to me while i was running. I didn't notice at the time my team DC'd until i was hooked. I was listening to the most fitting music at the very moment but that was by far the quickest survivor game i ever played. Lasted a whole 43.63 seconds from start to the moment i was hooked and sacrificed.

I remember a match I had couple months ago against an artist. Guy went down, got hooked and gave up. We were at 4 gens so me and a random just decided to mess around and do dumb stuff after i saved him (i had a sabo build and he had... whatever). Talking about Meta Perks, the devs mentioned that they want people to use other perks that will be buffed and the meta perks will be nerfed but by that logic we will be in the same situation as there will be a new set of meta perks... so what's the point of nerfing the current ones? the best action would be to buff the weak perks enough to make them good enough to be viable to use in a match and be worthwhile to choose it over the current meta perks.

I've had a game where my whole team was down 1 on hook 1 in the dying state and 1 being carried so I had to play risky while injured and bait hits so he could wiggle out but then something frustrating happened the person dced at the perfect time allowing the killer to lunge and have maximum speed i get downed then the game is all over '

it blows my mind that they included SC and BBQ when talking about overused/meta perks. Do they think I want to run BBQ on every build? take away the aura read. I'll still run it because it literally doubles the return for a 15 minute match. I'd run perks that actually complete gens for the survivors if it sped up progression.

It was a bubba on Haddonfield and I ran into a house and he decided not to chase me first. I start working on a gen and across the map he's dropping my teammates 10 sec chase to 10 sec chase and they dc immediately after. The 3rd teammate goes down soon after but doesnt DC. I assume its a hacker and hide in a locker and wait for him to teleport across the map and kill me. It never happens, I for the unhook, I miraculously run him for a whole gen he downs me, my teammates beelines for the hook goes down. But then he picks her up and gets his 2 hooks and lets us go. It was incredibly heartwarming

I had 2 teammates in haddonfield kill themselves against a nemesis. My friend that I normally play with was still alive tho and did all 5 gens by himself while I got chased. I had the whole map to work with and it went extremely well for me but not for my friend cause he got killed with rancor so there was no way out for him being downed after a short chase ;( he dc’d before he got moried and was just so mad at me and the game and got off. I felt so bad honestly

Something should probably be done if a survivor quits so early, in the first minute or two, like removing the generator with the most progress from the grounds and counting it as complete. Happening with the first disconnect at 5 gens and the second at 4, maybe even 3 because the difficulty increases exponentially at that point.
