Watching your weekly update is now part of my Sunday morning routine with my coffee and croissants. I liked the walk around the cathedral. It looked like their could be some pretty good cafes nearby. Gonna have to go on a boulangerie adventure when I travel their next year.

thank you so much. The Place Dauphine near by has a few great restaurants. I would avoid the ones in the immediate area of the cathedral. Mostly touristy so the food will be over priced and not great

Good morning from NYC love your work,I was there I was there in September and loved what I saw . I now plan on coming back in April my question is do I have to buy a ticket to see the inside? I can’t wait to return.

Merci Beth! You wil need a timed ticket but it "should" be free. The Minister of Culture wants to impliment a charge but that is a steep uphill battle. The time ticket will be available the day of or one day in advance. Be very careful, there are many scam websites offering tickets. I will share the official Notre Dame website when it is live the end of November or start of December.

I don't think clean or not is the objective. Exterior restorations, which were underway before the fire, are to continue on until 2028, I believe. That work is beyond the repairs from the fire. I lot of the exterior stonework needs more than just cleaning, it needs repairs or replacement.
