Parker could murder the NIU’s on ND’s schedule, but he couldn’t scheme against good defenses and he lost the Ohio State game w bad play calling. I also blame him and Freeman for ruining Sam Hartman. No way that guy comes to ND and regresses after the career he had at Wake. A sixth year senior QB doesn’t forget how to play QB.

@@swedejohanson7739 Parker was in over his head, freeman tried to give him a chance, I believe they didn’t set Hartman up to succeed but they needed to run the ball it’s a consistent theme, we have great backs have to utilize them help ease the QB Notre dame needs to find an identity stick to it

Parker was an after thought and hadn’t had any REAL experience at O.C.! He did some situational stuff at WV but that was the bulk of his resume. Run that ball and set up the pass.

Sharp money is pouring in on Notre Dame and the line movement would suggest that Vegas agrees. Reminds me a lot of the 2022 Clemson game when Notre Dame looked even worse on offense and still dominated Clemson unexpectedly. I think we see Notre Dame control this game from start to finish 27-13

I’m Louisville but not sure who we are. But last year I knew Hartman wasn’t the dude because of how he did against Louisville when he was at WF. The same is true of Leonard last year against Louisville. They know who he is. But with the game being at ND this is totally a toss up. Turnovers will be the difference.

It almost feels like ND staff is listening to fans and are trying to force the pass. I’m not sure how or why it became a bad thing to do what you’re good at! The strength of the offense right now is the run game. Why is that wrong? “Well, you can’t beat the really good teams in the playoffs only running!” Ok….first. You gotta MAKE the playoffs! Plus, tell that to Michigan’s team last year. One thing I know….throwing is great (and ND needs to get better at it!) but when you can run the ball AT WILL…it breaks the will of the opponent. Estime’ was LEANING on OSU last year in the 4th qtr….and they wanted NO PARTS of tackling that dude. Parker tried to get cute and it was PART of why we lost that game. Same thing in the Gator bowl against South Carolina…..run game was leaning on that defense….REES…tried to get cute…throws the ball in the red zone…. Pick six! Be who you are ND.
