@@craig287 Fires of this kind don't happen every day either. Do you honestly think that they had protocol for this? Notre Dame was decaying on its own before this as are many historical buildings around the world. This isn't a new building and people attending to it probably have a more familiar way of going about it. Look at it as a bloody museum where shit went wrong and the janitor who has walked those corridors for years can asses the state of the building better then a newly appointed technician. The biggest question is how could an organization such as UNESCO manage to allow a building to come to this point as it is under its protection.
