I had a job responsible for the 250cc motorcycles used in MSF classes in our state. Had terrible storage problems with carbs. I've seen it all. Clean a small engine carb and put it back together. Over 100 carb rebuilds and never even needed a new gasket. They just need to be clean. REally clean. All passages. REally clean.

You guys should do an episode where you pep that thing up. Throw a good chainsaw engine in it with a bigger jet and pipe. Maybe a compression release cable if possible.

The fuel petcock on those things are also the fuel pump you don't need it as a fuel pump drill out the center of it not all the way through the body of the petcock then block off the vacuum side on the motor in the petcock set petcock just works has a gravitational flow

Drill and clean out the exhaust much as possible drill extra air intake holes in the airbox the more air the better more exhaust flow the better lean the fuel out the better

Ok i just found your channel last night and i have to say. You guys are not pros at all i watched you do a few things the wrong way and i have to say i loved it you guys are to cool. Your doing something you love you make progress and you get shit done. Keep them coming . you guys arent doing to bad start reaching out to other youtubers go watch one of them reace and record your time there the more content you have on your channel it seems the farther you go. I do nothing but watch youtube i dont do tv other then news and even that here lately has been a circus so i stick with youtube because its real not fake. I hope your channel blows up i really do because its real and your real poeple and if i could i would have a work shop and tools and stuff but i cant right now so watching thus is all i have. First off you need to run some 110 in that thing and then get some type of power booster like a new engine but it was pretty funny watching you guys try to get that thing to move 👍

Seems like not getting enough fuel or it is definitely a fuel issue that thing should get 100+ mpg and also ya deff should rebuild the clutch and then she will climb hills and haul ass 😋😎

Daggum those 80s Honda’s....Legendary GY6’s would run to Hell. But after 30 years...you’ve rediscovered the same vulnerabilities as everyone else who pushes one this far. Gotta love cheap Chinese aftermarket parts.... And don’t try running without the factory air cleaner, else serious rejetting...

Remove the exhaust make a fire throw the exhaust is for a hour or so it will burn the oil and carbon build up that blocking the little holes in the baffle it should also stop or smoke a lot less and you will have a lot more power...(how to clean a 2stroke exhaust) lots of videos on youtube...

@@Chuffin_ell especially one of those. My son has a 50cc minibike that had a washer with a 3/8" hole in the 3/4" exhaust. We removed it and it was a big difference in power.

Mike Honcho your son has a Honda with a GY6? Opening a pipe on a 4 stroke is a completely different animal than than one of these. But, you’ll figure that out...
