Yeah... you can forget getting to Sable Island unless you have beaucoup bucks. It's just about 200 miles offshore.
@williamharris83672 жыл бұрын
Is it even possible to visit there? I thought that it was a nature preserve or suchlike.
@johnt86362 жыл бұрын
@@williamharris8367 It's a national park reserve. You can visit, if you can get there, but day visits only. No camping no over-nighting.

As a person from Dartmouth NS there were other facts that could have been covered most of these were about Halifax . the former city and little was done on the rest of Nova Scotia
@SebastiansFacts6 жыл бұрын
Well, of course there were a lot more facts. But I'm only one man, I don't have a whole lot of time to research these videos, so i have to pick the ones that seem to be interesting to me. But yes, you're right, the vast majority of my videos could've incorporate a lot more facts.

What specific treaty prevented the establishment of Halifax? The earliest that I (an admitted non-specialist) am aware of is the Treaty of Peace and Friendship from 1752; signed some three years _after_ Halifax was established.

From Wikipedia - The Halifax Explosion was one of the largest artificial non-nuclear explosions. An extensive comparison of 130 major explosions by Halifax historian Jay White in 1994 concluded that "Halifax Explosion remains unchallenged in overall magnitude as long as five criteria are considered together: number of casualties, force of blast, radius of devastation, quantity of explosive material, and total value of property destroyed."

@SebastiansFacts6 жыл бұрын
The Indian states will be done this year, a couple of months from now. But I didn't think about making a Chinese series. I will consider it, thanks!

Halifax is not a city its a Regional Municipality
@SebastiansFacts6 жыл бұрын
For all intents and purposes Halifax is an urban agglomeration, aka a city. It is managed as a regional government, but I don't think anyone that comes to Halifax thinks the place is anything else but a city.
