I wonder if the recent flooding in Korea and then the heavy rain in Nova Scotia are connected? Possibly some sort of atmospheric wave or even something to do with the jet stream. I actually studied this sort of stuff back in university. It was very interesting.

There's been news of street cats being infected with highly pathogenic avian influenza in Seoul. Take caution when looking after street cats and don't let Beemo get in direct contact with street cats.

We’ve heard about this! We never take Beemo outside to interact with them anyway, and are always super careful to wash our hands and anywhere we had contact with street kitties for Beemo’s sake (germaphobe here).

Wow! We actually had a crazy rainy windstorm here in kansas,last week.Power was out,treelimbs down too.Thankfully,not alot of damage except to neighbors trees here. This vlog was so refreshing! Loved the lake with the fog it was giving Mr. Darcy in Pride & Prejudice! And all the cutest little animals the kitty, the otter and ducks! 🥹 it’s so cool to see different beaches in different parts of the world I live in Miami, Fl our beaches are completely different and Kyuho waiting for the pizza bites 😂 he’s hilarious. I feel the same about laundry drying outside! Hope you guys are having an amazing time glad to know the flooding didn’t impact you too badly I know the feeling Florida is the same. So glad you guys and your family weren't badly affected by the flooding! My husband and I just got back to Winnipeg last night after our road trip to your beautiful city. It took us 3 days to drive there and we got to spend 5 days in NS before driving 3 days home. Thanks to your videos, we knew some great places to eat and sites to see! Yeah! It was the first time we’ve ever seen it this severe 😰 My mom said she always used to lay out tanning in her younger days, but now she just can’t tolerate the heat! 😅 And thank you so much 🥹 I can’t believe they’re officially out now ✨ Ohhh! Oh man, I grew up on the water and seeing you guys go to the beach makes me miss it so much! Especially during weeks like we had this past week - 80% humidity and heat index of 112° (44C). It has been miserable. It rained last night and now it's actually cool and breezy, thank goodness, but I miss the breeze that always comes off the water and being able to jump in and cool off. Glad you guys are safe from the flooding! If your parents don't already have one, it may be a good idea to have them look into getting a sump pump for your basement. With climate change, I think storms like that will become more frequent :( Congrats again on the Ana Luisa launch! ❤

Omg that is SO hot 😭 On the beach here on the east coast the air is definitely slightly cooler and breezier, so it was really refreshing. Yeah, my dad already has to tear up the flooring in part of the basement due to the flood-it’s really something to consider these days. And thank you! 🥰

Better to have the expense of the pump than the expense of having to do mold remediation and use your homeowners insurance and all that to tear the basement apart and put it back together, lol. Not to mention the loss of things you may have in storage that you can't put a price on. Ask me how I know. 😭

We almost got caught in the water near the Cobequid exit off the 102! Definitely one of the scariest moments I've experienced. We saw someone walking in waste deep water to get out from their car which had stalled in the what I can only describe as a growing lake in the middle of Glendale Ave. Glad you both are safe!

We were 10 girlfriends (1 from Truro, rest from Ontario) staying in Stillwater Lake, leaving on Saturday the 22nd for Toronto. We were lucky to only have 2 small roadblocks getting to the airport and multiple flight delays, but we got home. Our thoughts and prayers to Nova Scotians. That some very wicked weather and we have never been thru so many emergency alerts.
