Eric I am a Canadian living in Oregon now. When I was a teenager my family traveled from the west coast to the east coast of Canada.we spent several weeks in Nova Scotia. We saw all the places you mentioned. I will never forget Louisberg it was Turkey a time travel day. It was almost spooky. Amazing attention to detail thanks to all the information left in historical documentation as you mentioned. It makes me want to go back. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Eric, 1) congratulations on doing these videos in your second language. I am now a fully bilingual Anglo who can imagine your language journey. 2). I now live in Saint John nb, and own a 2020 Sienna. Can you recommend anyone near or nearest to me to help me figure out a conversion? I’m a very serious road tripper, and do so in my vans. However after discovering your channel just today, I realize how much more comfortable it could be. Again, extremely impressed with your ability to create this excellent channel in your second language. That inspires me as much as the super content.

I just did a 3 week car camping trip in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick in August 2022 and it was not enough time! I agree with your choices and opinion of great places to visit and wish I had more time in Lunenburg. Mahone Bay near Lunuenburg looked like a nice place to visit also. Fortress Louisbourg was excellent. I'd suggest visiting the Citadel in Halifax too if you like history. I wish I had known about Joggins Fossil Cliffs - missed that in my research and planning. The Canada National Park campgrounds were excellent and the Provincial campgrounds were pretty good also. We camped in a tent most of the time but also used our sofa-bed setup in our 2011 Honda Pilot a few times when only staying somewhere a single night. Thank you for all the sofa-bed design and construction tips - they were extremely useful for me when I built mine. It is very sad that hurricane Fiona did so much damage in Nova Scotia. I'm wondering how bad Fortress Louisbourg was damaged. Thank you for your videos.

Eric, thank you very much for all your videos! I have a question for you regarding your electrical system on a long trip. Have you figured out how to use your vehicle's alternator to charge your batteries while driving? I am looking into this currently, and it seems like a great way to get a full charge even if there is not much sun or if you do not have much solar capacity. I noticed that my accessory plug is limited to 100 Watts, but I know that my alternator delivers quite a bit more. I have been thinking about ways to hook up larger cables to my electrical system directly, and using electrical components to avoid overheating my alternator. I can't believe that I am the first person to try to do this, and I was wondering if you have any experience or tips to share? I am also thinking about how to charge my battery from solar and the alternator at the same time. I haven't found anything out about the electronics required to do this. Finally, is there a way to safely drain part of your starting battery into your house battery, without damaging the starting battery without draining it completely?
@ericenjoysearth27562 жыл бұрын
There’s a lot of video suggestions in your comment. I will answer in a video series about the electric system. Briefly, my system is self sufficient with solar power. I will explain it all. I think that you can not depend on your alternator because you will not drive necessarily every day. At least not long enough… Stay tuned for coming videos about this subject ✌️

I know that you are enjoying your travel time, but do you by any chance do a build for your dedicated followers. I want to retire again by July 2024. I do not have the time to build and I cannot find anyone willing to convert a minivan for me. If it's something that you would consider, please contact me. I'm from south central Louisiana where we are considered the most Cajun area. Unfortunately, my grandfather died the year before I was born and no one else in the family spoke French, but I do get by in Italian. Thank you for the videos you have posted.
@ericenjoysearth27562 жыл бұрын
So your grandfather was a descendant of the first French settlers or was a deported person from New Brunswick by the British after the French Indian war! Or something close to this… Wow! Both things are pretty unique! Cool ancestry! You are lucky. I am sorry Patricia I miss time, I don’t build for others. But you can do this one project at a time: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmetZaZpo7aShdU Just follow my DIY playlist: kzbin.info/aero/PLB4vW5hB1e8Vi9wM9OzQU59NtSmpUAHXH ✌️
