I love love Alcaraz to bits but I have to say that Sinner will be the more consistent one. They are clearly the next generation of GOATS but Sinner I think will be at the top spot longer than Alcaraz but we'll see. I know it's too early to say but still...
@KingCast652 ай бұрын
I think it can go either way because Carlos is still learning all of the applications of his talents. Sinner has his dialed in for the most part. Carlos has more gifts IMO so it will take a bit longer to really harness them, but yes he is the more volatile of the pair and will likely always be a bit less consistent. The main question is who will be the third.... the most consistent SPOILER of these two. Tennis is alive and well again. NextGen really didn't bust a grape right. Think about it.
@CilaAnizaza2 ай бұрын
@@KingCast65 Alcaraz is my favorite player and everytime he plays I put my money on him but it is still too early to tell as I previously mentioned. I agree that the nextgen is, when you think about it, have failed to deliver; that the likes of Zverev, Thiem, Tsitsipas even Medvedev cannot really conclusively challenge, let alone break, the three goats. And it is clear the window is closing on them. But we'll see, we'll see. Both Sinner and Alcaraz still have a long way ahead of them, so I guess I should just enjoy them.
@KingCast652 ай бұрын
@@CilaAnizaza That's right. What we do know is that it is going to be exciting! Who do you think the most consistent spoiler will be? Shelton? Fils? Cobolli? FWIW my current faves consistently in action are Carlos, Dimitrov, Bublik. If I could have anyone's game it would actually be the Old Man of the three.
@CilaAnizaza2 ай бұрын
@@KingCast65 I like Fils, I think he definitely got the potential. I love Dimitrov but isn't he like old already? I mean I really like that guy but I just don't think he has arsenal that will sustain his game against the younger talents. Yes, yes, he has been in some sort of career resurgence, yes agreed but I don't think that his physic will agree with him. Shelton, no, he's got the juice but I'm afraid he's like Auger that guy from Canada. He also seems to be a guy who is ahead of himself. Auger Aliassime when he burst onto the tennis scene he was very promising, I was even impressed but he really hasn't gone that far now, in my opinion. Machac, I think is very promising, I think that if he can maintain the way he plays when he defeated Alcaraz in Shanghai Master just about a few weeks ago, my money is on him as what you call the next spoiler

Djokovic made too many errors, couldn’t put away midcourt balls, no power from the baseline. Obviously signs of not spending enough time on court, both training and real matches. @@huzcer Because of his position. He’s achieved everything already so if he plays his goal should be getting another slam, not losing in the QF, SF, or even final, whereas for other people that would still be a big deal. Plus, does he want to keep losing to these two guys? Do we fans want to see him keep losing to Sinner? Federer kept playing a little too long and finished his career with a bagel set against him on his favorite tournament. I personally don’t want to see that with Djokovic.
