I can't express how happy I am that you have this guest on your platform. I love this book. As i was reading it i remember feeling the anticipation of watching it on screen and the urge to see the characters (one in particular) embodied. Such a talented writer. This book is such a gift. Homegoing was such a great book at times demoralizing and devastating but at others inspiring and uplifting it was so good I brought this book for my mother and she couldn't put it down.Yaa thank you for bringing back my love of reading especially involving stories of Black/African Americans experience and culture ❤️
