A distant memory of my father buying me a copy of New Super Mario Bros. U in late 2012 plays when I re-listen to this. I just... Man, I miss it when times were easier. Just sittin' back, playin' some Mario, occasionally invitin' over a friend of yers to hang out, sleep over and whatnot. It was such a good time. We had this all years ago, and now look at us. The best times. I recently booted up my console, and am trying to finally finish those two games. After that, I don't have much else of a journey to finish with this console. Just memories. My Wii U is homebrewed and that's going to likely be the only way I can get much enjoyment out of the console after I've 100%'ed both games.

I'd always just browse through the eshop and not really buy anything on my old wii u. We have a new one, but the old one, as broken and screwy as is, is still intact. Fyi, I think you can hear this music in your eShop again if you go to the shop on a brand new Nintendo network ID. It worked for me on my Wind Waker console at least. Only works on your first visit to the shop tho

if you reset your Wii U and go to the Eshop after you have reset your Wii U you will get the 2012 Eshop music for a couple of hours until Nintendo force the current music same applies for 3ds.

Welp, the Wii U finally got the nail in the coffin with the closure of the eShop. Still holding on, though-- Nintendo Land is *so* valuable and homebrew / softmodding is going to make this console even more of a massive powerhouse-- my eyes are peeled. With that said though, the eShop has so many valuable games. I have a lot of money to spend before May.
