Fate of the Fallen was amazing! It spins the Chosen One trope on its head completely. It’s more what happens when the chosen one fails before he even starts? What happens to the world? Does everyone just lay down and die and let the prophecy come to pass? The chosen one’s best friend decides he won’t let that happen if he can help it. The book follows Aslo, the best friend of the chosen one. So it’s completely different than what you would expect from a chosen one themed book. It helped pull me out of a slump. Also you can’t know what’s in the bag. That’s a huge ass spoiler. 😂😂

I read Fate of the Fallen and the synopsis isn’t super accurate. It’s more about the Chosen One’s best friend helping the Chosen One get home and there are gods involved which I think you will love that aspect. But trust me, the synopsis makes it sound like a different book than it is.

This book is seriously the most beautiful book I've ever owned, and is my entire aesthetic, I literally can't get over it XDDD (lmao, even if I don't end up liking the book, I'm probably going to keep it anyway, just for the aesthetic XDD)

I would recommend Empire of Sand audio rather than physical. I loved it so much I bought a physical copy and reading the physical copy was a whole different experience idk
