I've never seen that copy of Coraline before. It's so pretty 😊 but when I was 12, I decided to watch Coraline while eating Nutella & I basically got the fright of my life. I swear even if I watch it now at 18, I'd probably still be scared while watching that movie 😂

I really liked "The Casual Vacancy". It's a little bit on the dark sight and not so hopeful. As for "The Cuckoo's Calling", I didn't like it as much as the second book in the series, but I enjoyed reading it :) I can't wait to get my hands on "The Rest of Us Just Live Here", although that might not happen in the near future :D

I own that same edition of Coraline! I was looking at a ton of them after I finished reading it from the library and that was just the one I thought was the prettiest. I hope you enjoy The Rest of Us Just Live Here! I really, really liked it. Patrick Ness is one of my favorite authors ever. He's such an wonderful writer.

Hope you love The Cuckoo's Calling and The Casual Vacancy. Funnily enough, those two, along with the follow ups to Cuckoo (The Silkworm and Career of Evil), are the only Rowling books I have read (and I read them all in March & April of this year) Harry Potter just sort of missed me, or I missed him, but I just never paid them much attention. I have them all, so some day...Some Day!...I will read them. But Cormoran Strike is my everything, so I want more Galbraith novels. And this month, I bought 16 books (so far...there is a library book sale coming up!). Three from Barnes & Noble, one from a Big Lots type store, 1 from Book Outlet and 11 from a local independent bookstore. Of those eleven, I had 8 of them signed during author events that store was holding. (Marika McCoola signed one, Gail Carriger signed three, and then at a multi-author mixer, I got books signed by Katherine Addison/Sarah Monette, Scott Lynch, Max Gladstone & Garth Nix) And all of those happened in the span of 4 days. It was crazy!

Across the Universe is an awesome series. And I really don't know why they felt the need for such a terrible cover change, because the first book covers are beautiful. I really need to read Coraline. That's pretty weird that they'd call a waterstained book "like new".
